FxMasterz:He doesn't wanna prove anything to me but he proved to himself to Baal,Daagon and other gods in the bible? So he's afraid of the 'God of atheism'? Btw,how can I stream/televise a prayer that I don't know where or when it's happening? Please help me out here |

jaephoenix:So, atheism has a. god. And the god is a capital G. That's good to know. I have always said it that Atheism itself is a religion. God didn't prove Himself to Baal or to Dragon. Show me where He did that. God always prove Himself to His children who put their trust in Him. I will have the contact of your patients after you have their consent to release it. I'll pray over the phone or send voice notes of prayers to them so that they can be healed. You can televise your actions if you so desire. |

jaephoenix:Good morning. Okay great questions some of them. Every thing that exists in time and occupy space is matter right and since matter exists in time it has a beginning because something without a beginning would be timeless. Almost all scientist believe that the universe began like it had a beginning. Some believe it began from nothing . How is that possible? I don't know. many Christians including myself believe that creation started from nothing or what appears to be nothing ( most of science agrees with that)because I believe that in the beginning the universe wasn't simply a void of absolute nothingness even if it was something changed that the bible describes creation as God saying it and it just happened like God created the universe from his word. I don't know if the process of creation was a chemical one that span billions of years or if it was instantaneous. Science tries to explain the concept of creation from nothing with quantum fluctuations and quantum physics but it is unable to physics has not yet found confirmed instances of something arising from nothing in a way that definitively proves this processes. This was supposed to disprove God that's there's a divine hand in creation but as of today it hasn't. So how did God get the materials to create the universe? First God isn't a bricklayer that needs material. He created everything from his word you might not believe this and you don't have to . This brings us to your second point of inserting God into a knowledge gap that's classic human behavior and for good reasons I got to admit I do so because of two reasons one being evidence for like the fact that life can only come from life and the fact that you and many like you are basically saying that everything as we know it is as a result of multiple coincidences and make it seem like we are unreasonable for believing that no all as we know can't be as a result of multiple coincidences and mistake that every law that governs physics chemistry life time space matter are just as a result of coincidences. That there has to be some sort of guidance from a higher conscious being an intelligent being. Anyway I'm won't lie evidence that supports my beliefs were not enough for me that brings me to the second reason evidence against. The evidence against are not conclusive as of now they have not disprove my beliefs in God and for now they affirm my beliefs that for instance abiogenesis there's no instance of complete abiogenesis. Or many of those other theories are inconclusive. Coming to think of it now the only record of complete abiogenesis was done by God as recorded in Bible Adam formed from dust. The day nature or science accomplish that then you standing becomes stronger. So from all I have written you can tell I did not just come to the conclusion of God did. Some may say the evidence that points to God being the author of creation isn't enough but the evidence against God are not conclusive. PS Jesus never said that epilepsy was demonic. I believed in that instance that that epilepsy the boy was suffering from was as a result of a demon Jesus said so and cast the demon out which ended the epilepsy Jesus before then had healed countless people and I think this one and the mad man he healed are the only ones he termed to be as a result of demon possession. Not that all madness and epilepsy are as a result of demon possession. On your third point and question God created time space and matter this three have to come into existence at the same instance because non of them can exists independently of the other two doesn't that tell you that for God to have created time he has to be outside time if not God is just a matter that occupies space at a point in time. Let's take paintings the painter doesn't exist in his paintings and he existed before his paintings. So yeah basically God existed before time he created it so he has to exist outside it. On your fourth point well if you ask me you shouldn't at least not blindly you should study find evidences study the gospel study God in the old and New testament study the gods of other religions and compare them then come to your conclusion I did and I can tell you evidence points to My God as the God of all flesh and of Creation. On your fifth point I agree with you 100% but then the conditions and laws that governs our Bodies and universe I consider them almost perfect your if not the universe will be chaotic and disorderly you do agree with me that's there's an other to which the human body works and once something disrupts that order then you have sickness disease take our world for example earth meets the very slim requirements to sustain life it's the only planet that we can verify sustains life because it meats the rules there is a delicate balance. So while our Bodies and universe are not perfect if they follow certain rules and meet certain conditions they have the potential to be nearly perfect. To you the idea of creation negates evolution to me it doesn't I believe God gave his living creatures the ability to adapt to certain conditions which could lead to evolution. God's creation of the universe could as well been a chemical process like God sets the laws of physics chemistry and biology and all other scientific laws uses them as a blue print to further create everything everything else or God starts the process of creation and directs it until we got to the point where we are today. But that being said I do not believe in the evolution of Man specifically . In the bible there is a mention of the earth without life as we know it. The bible describes this earth as without form and it was void. I know someone who could explain this better than I ever could. On you last question I think I have already answered this question the universe isn't perfect it is infact very hostile to life but then there are requirements that must be reach to sustain life . There are rules and laws the universe must not break on a large scale of it must remain sustainable.( A thought came to my head that the whole universe is matter when is it in time what space doe it occupy ) this show be a discussion for another time. In conclusion nobody have ever seen a universe being created nobody saw the big bang nobody saw the dinosaurs. But there are evidence that points to all this existing. So the evidence I have seen forms my beliefs of God being the Author of creation. Are you sure God doesn't exist? What are the basis for you atheist beliefs. Omo next time guy you're obligated to send me a truck load of vitamin tablets and energy drinks . I hate typing it tires me TF out. Cc LordReed |

LordReed:The fact thats there's no record or evidence of complete abiogenesis . The fact biogenesis is the corner stone of modern biology cells arise from preexisting cells There's a reason the idea or theory of spontaneous generation has been discarded. |

Lawag3:This bot has been dealing with me today. So i have to alter my posts severally. Most of the sentences you made didn't make sense cos it was in long convoluted sentences. Please try to use commas and full stops. How do you know your god is timeless. In fact how do you determine the characteristics of your god. If you use the bible,it would be wrong cos it has been found to be self contradictory, inconsistent and errant. Which scientists said the world has a beginning? I dont think scientists believe the world came from nothing. Show me your source. The general consensus is Big Bang, and before that,we dont know. If you dont believe the universe was a void, you would be contradicting your own source, the bible. You're basically saying the same thing. According to you, your god just said something and stuff started popping into existence Thanos-esque. So its basically saying something came from nothing, which is exactly what you theists have been laughing at. I dont know where you got your coincidence story. I personally believe we dont know how we came about. The abounding theory is that we came from a unicellular organism and evolved. Thats all there's to it. Again, quoting your creation story doesn't make sense. Ditto what i said up there: the bible is not an inerrant source of knowledge. You're confusing yourself. You said 'Jesus never said that epilepsy was demonic' and in the same breath said 'that epilepsy the boy was suffering from was as a result of a demon Jesus said so and cast the demon out which ended the epilepsy' U said the earth was without life and form. You still didn't say anything about dinos existing. You said you dont believe in evolution. Are you for real? Before i explain it,are you a science student? You skipped the question where i asked you how you know its your favorite god that created the earth. It seems a sticking point for theists. Why? So why do you thonk your god is special. I'm waiting.... I hate typing too. What you need isnt vitamins and energy drinks. You need glucose. |

FxMasterz:Obviously u can see I used paraphrase around the word God of atheism, meaning it is not real. About your god proving himself, it seems yall christians don't read your bible cos you're the second christian I'm showing this verse about yhwh flexing his muscle.... If you can't read the book your belief is based off,why then engage atheists? ![]() 1 Kings 18:18-40 18 “I have not made trouble for Israel,” Elijah replied. “But you and your father’s family have. You have abandoned the Lord’s commands and have followed the Baals. 19 Now summon the people from all over Israel to meet me on Mount Carmel. And bring the four hundred and fifty prophets of Baal and the four hundred prophets of Asherah, who eat at Jezebel’s table.” 20 So Ahab sent word throughout all Israel and assembled the prophets on Mount Carmel. 21 Elijah went before the people and said, “How long will you waver between two opinions? If the Lord is God, follow him; but if Baal is God, follow him.” But the people said nothing. 22 Then Elijah said to them, “I am the only one of the Lord’s prophets left, but Baal has four hundred and fifty prophets. 23 Get two bulls for us. Let Baal’s prophets choose one for themselves, and let them cut it into pieces and put it on the wood but not set fire to it. I will prepare the other bull and put it on the wood but not set fire to it. 24 Then you call on the name of your god, and I will call on the name of the Lord. The god who answers by fire—he is God.” Then all the people said, “What you say is good.” 25 Elijah said to the prophets of Baal, “Choose one of the bulls and prepare it first, since there are so many of you. Call on the name of your god, but do not light the fire.” 26 So they took the bull given them and prepared it. Then they called on the name of Baal from morning till noon. “Baal, answer us!” they shouted. But there was no response; no one answered. And they danced around the altar they had made. 27 At noon Elijah began to taunt them. “Shout louder!” he said. “Surely he is a god! Perhaps he is deep in thought, or busy, or traveling. Maybe he is sleeping and must be awakened.” 28 So they shouted louder and slashed themselves with swords and spears, as was their custom, until their blood flowed. 29 Midday passed, and they continued their frantic prophesying until the time for the evening sacrifice. But there was no response, no one answered, no one paid attention. 30 Then Elijah said to all the people, “Come here to me.” They came to him, and he repaired the altar of the Lord, which had been torn down. 31 Elijah took twelve stones, one for each of the tribes descended from Jacob, to whom the word of the Lord had come, saying, “Your name shall be Israel.” 32 With the stones he built an altar in the name of the Lord, and he dug a trench around it large enough to hold two seahs[a] of seed. 33 He arranged the wood, cut the bull into pieces and laid it on the wood. Then he said to them, “Fill four large jars with water and pour it on the offering and on the wood.” 34 “Do it again,” he said, and they did it again. “Do it a third time,” he ordered, and they did it the third time. 35 The water ran down around the altar and even filled the trench. 36 At the time of sacrifice, the prophet Elijah stepped forward and prayed: “Lord, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Israel, let it be known today that you are God in Israel and that I am your servant and have done all these things at your command. 37 Answer me, Lord, answer me, so these people will know that you, Lord, are God, and that you are turning their hearts back again.” 38 Then the fire of the Lord fell and burned up the sacrifice, the wood, the stones and the soil, and also licked up the water in the trench. 39 When all the people saw this, they fell prostrate and cried, “The Lord—he is God! The Lord—he is God!” 40 Then Elijah commanded them, “Seize the prophets of Baal. Don’t let anyone get away!” They seized them, and Elijah had them brought down to the Kishon Valley and slaughtered there. |

jaephoenix:I'm not here to argue with you. Elijah had contact with the people whom he showed the power of God. Everyone did. Give me the necessary contacts. I will prove God to those who need God, not to a sorner. Elijah proved God to the Israelites who needed God, not to the prophets of Baal. Let the fire fall. |

jaephoenix:You're asking questions I believe I have already answered. How do I know my God is timeless? Well I'll say again he created time so that means he existed before time itself On your third point and question God created time space and matter. this three have to come into existence at the same instance because non of them can exists independently of the other two. doesn't that tell you that for God to have created time he has to be outside time? if not God is just a matter that occupies space at a point in time. Let's take paintings the painter doesn't exist in his paintings and he existed before his paintings. Doesn't the bolded explain I know God is timeless? If not explain. The bible has textual variances and it also has perspective difference not one contradiction. Yes, the vast majority of scientists believe the universe had a beginning, most commonly explained by the Big Bang theory. This theory states that the universe began approximately 13.8 billion years ago from an extremely hot and dense point that rapidly expanded. While this is the leading explanation supported by a wide range of evidence, alternative ideas continue to be explored by some researchers, though many of these are designed to work within or extend the Big Bang model. The above was copied after a simple Google search. So yes the world/ universe have a beginning according to science the big bang everything came into existence immediately after the big bang matter space time all the laws that governs the universe. Before that science doesn't know what was before the big bang. So if matter space and time as we know it did not exist before the big bang then what did? This you'd agree with me is a knowledge gap. I tried to bridge this gap using God I said this many Christians including myself believe that creation started from nothing or what appears to be nothing ( most of science agrees with that)because I believe that in the beginning the universe wasn't simply a void of absolute nothingness and I went on to add, even if it was, something changed that. the bible describes creation as God saying it and it just happened like God created the universe from his word. I don't know if the process of creation was a chemical one that span billions of years or if it was instantaneous.( this is me saying the big bang could have been a tool of creation) so I don't know why you assumed that I said God just said something and stuff started popping into existence Thanos-esque. Take for example Genesis 1:11 (KJV) And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so. Notice how it did not say immediately it was so again take 1:20Genesis 1:20 (KJV) And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven. According to the scientific consensus is that life likely began in the water. Evidence includes fossil records showing the earliest life was aquatic, we cannot say for sure that God's creation was instantaneous. It doesn't say so in the bible. Stephen Hawking and Lawrence Krauss are two scientists who discussed how the universe could have started from "nothing". [/b]Their ideas, however, involve a scientific concept of "nothing"—such as empty space with quantum fluctuations—rather than a complete absence of anything. I also copied the above from a simple Google search Plus the bible never said the universe was a void Genesis 1:2 called the EARTH a void and formless not the universe. I dont know where you got your coincidence story. I personally believe we dont know how we came about. The abounding theory is that we came from a unicellular organism and evolved. Thats all there's to it. Well if you don't believe that everything life as we know it was a coordinated process by someone intelligent and conscious then you do believe all as we know it is as a result of multiple coincidences. When you say Jesus said epilepsy was demonic it means all epilepsy is as a result of demon which Jesus never said . The boy's case specifically was as a result of a demon. It's like saying oh this person sickness is as a result of smoking it doesn't mean all sickness is as a result of smoking. On the dinosaurs they existed before man. That's all I know . Some one once told me that when God threw Satan to earth that caused an extinction event killing life rendering the earth without form and void. But that's what he said. I can't say what I don't know. I said I don't believe in evolution? Is it because I did not add commas and punctuation marks? Because this is what I said To you the idea of creation negates evolution to me it doesn't I believe God gave his living creatures the ability to adapt to certain conditions which could lead to evolution. and I said I did not believe in the evolution of Man specifically. the bible shows man as an abiogenetical creation of God. It said man was formed from Genesis 2:7 (KJV) And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. Man was created differently from other animals. I don't know. But then I have studied My God his works his word. I have studied other religions and compare them. The evidence points to me that the God of the bible is the only genuine God. Relationship with My God is personal so yes you can experience My God. But then you'd be a complete idiot to take my word for it that's why I urged you to study find evidences study the gospel study God in the old and New testament study the gods of other religions and compare them then come to your conclusion. Lawag3:Nobody claimed there was complete evidence of abiogenesis, it is still a hypothesis so that is not evidence against it. I thought you have positive evidence that abiogenesis is impossible. Abiogenesis IS NOT spontaneous generation, and spontaneous generation was never a theory. |
| Re: You Don't Believe In Jesus? Tell Me, Which God Can Do Wonders Like This? by Lawag3: 8:39pm On Nov 30, 2025 |
LordReed:Is if not ? Well I thought they were the same they have like the same meaning isn't it What's the difference between the both of them? Unexplained complexity: There is no complete scientific explanation for how inorganic molecules transitioned into complex, self-replicating structures like cells. Experimental limitations: While experiments like Miller-Urey have shown that simple organic molecules can form, critics argue they don't replicate the full complexity of life's origins and that the early Earth's atmosphere may have been different than the conditions in the experiment. Specific unsolved problems: Scientists are still working to reconcile key differences in the mechanisms required to synthesize the necessary components for life, such as the purine and pyrimidine bases needed for RNA nucleotides. The above was copied from a simple Google search. And the first point is the same or almost the same as the point I gave it just this one is worded better. So yeah it's an evidence against abiogenesis aka life from non living matter. I think I should tag you to the discussion I had with jaephoenix he gave excellent points that we talked about. That is if you haven't read them already. |
| Re: You Don't Believe In Jesus? Tell Me, Which God Can Do Wonders Like This? by LordReed(m): 9:06pm On Nov 30, 2025 |
Lawag3:Spontaneous generation is the idea that that certain forms, such as fleas, could arise from inanimate matter such as dust, or that maggots could arise from dead flesh. This is very different from abiogenesis which hypothesises that life arose on the planet via a path way from simple chemicals to amino acids then to self replicating molecules then to simple cell structures then scaling up from that to more complex microscopic life forms. People held on to SG because they did not know the mechanisms that caused a piece of rotten meat to breed maggots so they thought maggots spontaneously generate from rotten meat. That is not what abiogenesis suggests at all. So no it is not evidence against abiogenesis. The fact that we cannot currently explain something doesn't make it untrue. There was also a time we couldn't explain thunder and lightning that did not then make them the works of gods. You can link the discussion or tag me, I'll read it. |

LordReed:Okay makes sense. Although I wasn't saying that because SG become obsolete then that's evidence against abiogenesis. Unexplained complexity: There is no complete scientific explanation for how inorganic molecules transitioned into complex, self-replicating structures like cells. I worded it like this The fact thats there's no record or evidence of complete abiogenesis . The fact, biogenesis is the corner stone of modern biology cells arise from preexisting cells. Lawag3:Yeah I get you and that's why I said not having an understanding of the mechanisms is not evidence against the hypothesis. Biogenesis works because we already have life going on the planet. The issue is we know that at some point there was no life on the planet and we are investigating how life got started here. Biogenesis cannot tell us how that happened, we needed a new hypothesis hence the abiogenesis hypothesis. |
