DECEMBER 1ST COULD DECIDE THE DIRECTION OF BITCOIN AND ALTS FOR THE NEXT FEW MONTHS.

➞ On December 1st, Jerome Powell will deliver a major speech about the economy, inflation, labour markets and future monetary policy.

This speech comes just a few days before the FOMC meeting, where markets are already pricing almost an 87% chance of a December rate cut.

Whatever Powell says on December 1st will immediately shape expectations for that meeting.

➞ At the same time, the Federal Reserve is officially ending QT after running it for more than three years. The last time QT ended in 2019, Alt/BTC outperformed for months.

Even the 2020 crash didn’t fully erase that strength. Once QE came back, altcoins entered a long uptrend. The structure forming today is very similar.

Because QT is ending on the same day Powell speaks, markets are also watching for any hint about when the Fed could restart QE.

➞ Other major economies Japan, China, Canada are already easing or preparing to ease.

If Powell even slightly aligns with that direction, global liquidity expectations will jump, and crypto usually reacts the fastest.

The last Powell speech was hawkish and immediately weakened Bitcoin’s momentum.

But if this time he focuses more on the weakening labour market and less on inflation, the probability of a December rate cut becomes almost certain. That single shift can support the relief rally already happening in BTC and altcoins.

The market is basically balancing between two clear outcomes →

• If Powell signals room for more cuts, crypto strengthens.

• If he says the Fed can’t cut much further, the rally can retrace.

It all comes down to how the Fed frames the next phase of policy.

If inflation is seen as stable through tariffs and other tools, and unemployment continues moving toward the danger zone, the market will expect more rate cuts through 2026.

But it Powell focuses on rising inflation, the crypto market will start the next leg down.

I thought I was the only one who noticed it. I stopped by this thread at the wee hours of the night the other day and immediately Ilegenddd posts something, he immediately likes it with 5 of his alt accounts. We are talking at like 2 a.m and there were no guests or registered users viewing the thread. He made like 3 posts back to back and they all had the same number of likes.

I have no issues with anyone finding a repeatable pattern in trading. If you've noticed that every time it rains in Beijing, crypto sells off or every last friday of the month crypto rallies because Americans have been paid, that is an edge. You should use your edge for as long as it works but bear in mind that at some point, the pattern will not work.

The problem I have with this guy is the fact that he doesn't give entry, stop loss or take profit targets. Doing so would make it easy to audit his trades and assess his win rate and profitablity. Instead, he analyzes chart patterns that played out in the last 4 cycles then proceeds to say his discovery "works everytime." And that's the problem with back testing vs forward testing. As humans, we are hardwired to seek out patterns in everything, this ability helps us understand the world around us. But back testing can give one this delusional sense of mastery that can never be replicated in real time.

Truth be told, if you've discovered a pattern that works everytime you will use it to enrich yourself quietly without telling anyone because you will be scared that it might stop working. You could theoretically become one of the richest people in the world with a fail-proof trading system.

What I see is a lonely man who seeks out Nairaland fame for relevance. I mean just read his most recent posts, it shows a man who's spiraling out of control because more people are calling out his numerous unproven trading theories. Like why is a grown man obsessed with Nairaland immortality that he says stuff like others will be forgotten but him and his work will be remembered by future generations. This is classic delusions of grandeur by a person who hasn't achieved or contributed anything in the world if technical analysis or trading. You seek relevance so much that you make a post and quickly like the same posts with your alt accounts . This is all just very disturbing

I know he will try to act like it doesn't bother him but watch him spam the thread with even more rubbish as a pretentious attempt to mask his frail ego.

BTC is in a major consolidation box. For a bullish breakout, I will wait for H4 close above 91,131. This is the structural shift signal. Once confirmed, I buy the retest as new support targeting 93,010 any further push above that will have a ride to 106,219 which is a major resistance zone.

For a bearish signal, if price fails to hold at 91,131 with a bearish daily candle close coupled with other confluences will see a bearish move down to 82,340.
