Yea I wouldn't be surprised seeing their mentor Mc Oluomo rising to the level he did because of his loyalty to the man at the top. But they don't realize only less than one percent can make it that far.
It's a failure of the society. A pity Many do not see the danger ahead with these boys roaming everywhere.

THIS CURRENT GOVT ACTUALLY ENABLED AND EMPOWERED THEM AND THEIR CRIMINALITY
It was so much that even their Leader M.C dreamt of becoming the Governor of Lagos State!

Imagine, asking responsible people who had other beneficial things to do, volunteering to clean up the mess that some of these dirty people create, being asked to pay for doing such public service?

But let us be fair, this is a "Sothern Nigeria" problem, not just Lagos alone.

I was at Onitcha recently and saw similar thing happening at their Public Bus terminals.
Local touts insisted l must pay them, before the Alabaru that carried my things to the Motor Park, could put them down.
Another set now came, to ask for more money before they could be loaded into the Bus that was taking these things to another State.
I was like, how can l pay you for dropping them down behind the boot of the Vehicle, and still pay you to put them in the Boot of the Vehicle?
Small time now, na una still go dey should "double taxation" under Tinubu regime.

Same thing plays out in PH where "Deve" has taken a life of its own..

The popular human rights activist known as VeryDarkMan started a monthly nationwide community clean-up initiative. Volunteers from the Ratel movement have been working across Nigeria to keep public spaces clean. The operation, which began a few days ago, has seen success in several cities.

However, in Lagos, members of the movement have faced challenges from street touts (also called "area boys" who demanded payment before permitting the volunteers to clean public areas. A tense confrontation almost escalated into a fight as both sides kept pushing each other. Towards the end of the video, one of the Ratel volunteers was heard telling a tout to step back, saying his gangs at the back had already been paid.
