Root out the jihadists sponsors, almajirism must be ended, an army of untrained, uneducated, unempowered young men, is a huge security threat, these almajiris should be trained in skills acquisition... carpentry, electrician, plumber, tailors, show making etc. Without skills to earn a reasonable income or living wage, these young boys that work for scrapyard and plastic collectors will venture into crime as they grow older, because the money they earn from the job won't be enough to take care of themselves, as we know it is the men with the scrapyard that make the money, this is not a realistic way for them to earn a living wage...they will venture into crime to survive, we see a lot of them now, into selling drugs and such, some can venture into robbery etc, or giving information to outside crime syndicates. Take these boys off the streets, train them to become valuable human capital.

Gen.Musa is an outstanding and forthright soldier in my opinion. An example of total dedication to the Nigerian cause. Unlike Buratai etal.

Nigeria is in serious trouble related to the fight to control her soul and resources. Especially by the Jihadists across the Sahel nations that are around us and growing stronger daily.

Only those truly dedicated to Nigeria should serve her right now and President Tinubu, as I believe he is, must be mindful of this fact.

In Musa, as with Ribadu also, he made the right choice. Many Northerners are enemies within and PBAT must begin changing the narrative to make the South understand they must not continue appeasing the murderous North.

We must insist they take charge and stop the killings and insecurity they have have made a daily part of Nigerian life.

Someone like you would have praised super cop too in his prime until news broke out that he was even more corrupt than the criminals he went after.

Ribadu should be sacked; he is not good or competent enough to be the National Security Adviser (NSA).
The NSA should be a retired top military officer who can give instructions and strategy to serving senior military officer, but Rubadu cannot because he retired as police DCP before his dismissal from police service

Musa is the personification of dedication to duty. I was disappointed when Tinubu retired him because I know, all things taken into consideration, the man was fully, patriotically and uncompromisingly committed to the fight against insecurity.

I am glad PBAT had a bigger job for him in mind and the retirement was only strategic because I believe the likes of Musa must not be lost to Nigerian security leadership strata at the highest level.

As defense Minister, Musa now has far more power over the fight against insecurity and the murderous Jihadist from across the Sahel converging on Nigeria.

From approving procurement of weapons to fight insecurity to specialist training for our armed forces plus engagement with the West over intelligence/tactical cooperations to reforms in the army etal, Musa now has control.

Well done Mr.President. welcome Gen.Musa.
