Safe to say Captain Ndidi and Captain Ekong are why Nigeria failed to qualify for world cup. End |

9JAMac10:so what concession or compensation did CAF argue for in order to move the afcon that was originally planned to be played in july for the club world cup. So fifa just told them to move the date and they agreed? |

I noticed that since Nigeria failed to qualify for World cup, many monikers have gone on recess on this platform especially the Supernerd. AFCON is here but it seems many are not interested. Abeg guys make una no vex. I know how this world cup meant to you all. Lets move forward, hoping that the boys will redeem themselves at this AFCON. Gracias... |

solonnachi:Lol. My brother we haven't even started mourning yet. When the tournament starts coming around the corner and people around the world are caught up in the euphoria of arguably the biggest World Cup tournament of all time, and we start seeing all the new debutants, the interesting documentaries on qualified teams, the opening ceremony etc. and meanwhile Nigeria is nowhere on people's lips, but we're hearing about success stories of Morocco, Senegal and other teams etc. Na that time our eyes go blur. The real pain of this miss will hit us next year when it all begins. |

solonnachi:U:S is about to invade Nigeria, terrorists are attacking in all geo-political zones of the country, prices of foods, rent, fuel, electricity, gas, school fees, public transportation e.t.c are increasing... there are more important things to focus on than the S.E. 90 minutes is a long time to waste watching football that the players and the NFF are not serious about and the players are crying about bonuses as if they are not earning thousands of euros in their clubs and as if they are track and field athletes.. it is pointless supporting the S.E.. it will show in the Local league and age grade FIFA competitions when the NFF is serious about football especially if U:S and its friends does not invade Nigeria.. |

robosky02:Nice point but we have hardly had a team compromising of only (mostly) black players dominating football. However, what we are seeing happening was already in the making. Arsenal had a team that went on a strong run that were mostly black players. Apart from the Keeper - Seaman the team had. Sol Campbell, Kolo Toure, Lauren, Ashley Cole, Gilberto Silva, Viera, Wiltord, Henry, Quincy and Penant. When they played, they were destructive and I have always looked forward to black teams rising. Another was apart from Cech, Carvalho and Lampard, Chelsea had Ashley Cole, Alex, Bosingwa,Mikel Obi, Essien, Anelka, Drogba and Malouda. With the evolution of the man to man tactics growing, football will need more running and I see more teams filled with black players. |

robosky02:I don’t think some of y’all think before you type because why can you say soccer is a black man’s game ? A black man always has a workhorse role in the game of soccer they never had the brain 🧠 neither the skillset to dominate the sport aside from the physical aspect. In soccer brain beats physique In basketball physique is everything In nfl and rugby physique is everything In golf f**k your physique In tennis screw your physique But in soccer when last does an African country won a World Cup, and how many black men have won the balondor |

When they call players, you will run and call SO GOOD HE WAS NAMED TWICE? For every player you typed here , there are 100 white players better than them in all ramifications |

As controversial as his views are he loves Nigerian football and the national team and celebrates it whenever they succeed. He may not like some players but he’s truly passionate about our football |

There are strong indications that Real Madrid's top executive hierarchy has discussed Victor Osimhen. A potential move is imminent for him to Real Madrid at the end of the season. Nigeria's ex-captain was quoted as saying. |
