Just look at such a precarious statement ..... Many of you here drink some overslept palmwine every morning before you come out to talk with your brain buried deep in your guts.

When they call players, you will run and call SO GOOD HE WAS NAMED TWICE?

For every player you typed here , there are 100 white players better than them in all ramifications
My statement was directed to somebody
And he perfectly understand the. Angle am coming from.

To just wake up and start responding to a discussion you know nothing about is not maturity

By the way
You don't know the image Okocha carries
It's not all about winning CAF awards

Victor ikpeba won African footballer of the year award but you can't compare his impact to Okocha

Ronaldinho won the Ballondor but whenever he sees Okocha he bows to him and tells everyone this is my boss

Even Pele the greatest sees Okocha as one of the most skillful player ever and named in in the 100 greatest players

Boy you don't know football

Just came to point out something. Notice how Fulham manager, Marco Silva kept throwing in black players. Football is becoming more like a track and field game and in the coming years, black players will rule. Football is going to be more of how fast and how long you can run.

Skills, positioning and intelligence will be reduced by more of running.

Keep in mind you heard this first.
No football is not becoming a track and field game and no skill and intelligence will be reduced by running. Wetin you Dey talk like this na? The black players that dominate football today do they have less football intelligence or skill?

It’s like black domination of Basketball in the US. The athleticsm is there but they need the skill and technique much more to be pro.

If running supersedes everything, why don’t we have many African players at the top? The black players that dominate today were all born and produced in the European system.

Someone with your level of football knowledge shouldn’t be saying this kind of things na.

AFCON is very unpredictable to call who will win to be honest. We’ll have a better sense after the group stage.

Qualifiers is very different from tournament football.

NFF and Eric Chelle should consider other viable options in defense.
They should halt any convincing of Tosin who is not better than Tomori.
Luck and chance dey follow some footballers sha.

Ndidi also had a terrible miss against Zimbabwe, he went on to scuffle Lookman's cut back for Chukwueze to double our lead against DRC.

It is not about being verbally offensive. It is about watching the trend of the game. The game is becoming more physical and breaking down position and skill with physicality and intensity is beginning to take the lead. And yes, basketball actually shows this. The physicality is key. If you are 5ft 5, with all the intelligence, skills and positioning, it is difficult to rule.

Let us watch as the trend goes.

You have a good point. Right now Madrid with 8 black players on the pitch completely dominating Athletic Bilbao. They are winning back loose balls and passes in the midfield with ease. Alonso is learning fast.
Didn't watch the game but this is absolutely brilliant. Wow.

Where am I being verbally offensive? You don start naw.

In basketball, height is a baseline and not the defining factor.

What you’re saying is just not making sense cos if physicality was key we should have seen the trend long ago. It’s not today that players became physical. Africans play physical football but the World Cup stats keeps on getting worse.

As a fan of French National team playing style I kinda understand your point but it is misplaced and wrongly put. Speed and stamina is important but so is long passing, attacking technique, tactical awareness and positioning. Saying it is becoming more about physicality is wrong. You’re not noticing the strong tactical play then.

Is Arsenal with all their black players playing football dominated by physicality? Arsenal is still heavy on their build up play.

Chelle needs to exploit the apathy towards this AFCON by commencing a gradual rebuild looking at possibly a 5 year plan. Most of the current players will be past their prime by then.

NFF should revive our cadets teams U_13s, U_15s etc else when the real slump will come by the 2030s, the SE will need calculators to qualify for AFCON.

Happy Chukwueze is showing his quality in the EPL. Like Patrice Evra stated, the Serie A made him feel like he was on a holiday while playing for Man Utd.

Were they in the preliminary list? I'll have to go check again.

Just watched their clips. I'm particularly impressed with Peter Agba. Maybe it's because I'm just hearing of dude. He seems like the type of physical player we need who doesn't hesitate to make important runs forward. Takes too many long shots though.

Phillip Otele and Peter Agba (left footed midfielder) are good enough to have earned a call up to the National team. They have the talents to bring extra force to the team. Their not being invited all these while speaks volume of the criteria for invitation in the National team. It should be what you possess & can add and not whether you played in the Serie A, La liga, Ligue Un or Epl. Back in the days, Odion Ighalo was quite a talent but beacause he was not in the big league, they never cared and never invited him.

WHAT WE HAVE IS A MASSIVE MASSIVE MASSIVE COACHING PROBLEM
OUR COACHES ARE SERIOUSLY UNINTELLIGENT.
THEY JUST LOOK FOR PLAYERS IN THE TOP 5 LEAGUE PLAY A 4 2 4 AND HOPE EVERYTHING WILL BE ALRIGHT.
I THINK TOM SAINTFIELT (A BELGIUM COACH PROFICIENT WITH AFRICAN FOOTBALL) OR ANY OTHER EXPERIENCED COACH SHOULD BE HIRED AS OUR COACH.
OUR COACHES ARE SERIOUSLY UNINTELLIGENT
IN THIS NATIONS CUP, TEAMS HAVE FIGURED US OUT. JUST STIFLE OUR MIDFIELD AND MARK OUT OSIMHEN.
THAT IS ALL.
OUR COACHES WILL NOT LEARN.
IRONICALLY, IT MIGHT EVEN BE BETTER IF WE DONT HAVE PLAYERS IN THE TOP 5 LEAGUES OF EUROPE.
tHAT WAY, WE WILL CONCENTRATE OF TACTICS AND WHAT A PLAYER BRINGS TO THE TEAM THAN THE LEAGUE HE PLAYS IN.
THE FACT THAT WE HAVE PLAYERS IN THE TOP 5 LEAGUES SHUTS DOWN THE BRAIN OF OUR COACHES. IT IS AS IF LOGIC TAKES A BACK
SEAT WHEN SELECTING PLAYERS OR USING TACTICS.

Always emotional and having gag reflexes. Your Okocha is simply mid.

The same delulu you all feed yourself that Ronaldinho learned his skills from him!!!! The same Dinho that was skillful from his Gremio days in the suburbs of Brazil? Show me the place Dinho bowed to him right now on the go. Facts won't cower for emotions.

In the same way, you lots believe your not-so-good players are world beaters and will beat every African team only for your team to brushed aside like wastemen in the World cup qualification?

Please be dense in facts and not dense as a stone

Defense is not poor it’s those stupid loose balls nd long balls that beats the midfield made the defense look poor.

As of right now if everyone’s healthy our defense doesn’t have a weak link but same can’t be said for your midfield and attack

Don’t forget we have no subs in attack if osimen goes out everyone starts playing like Sunday league

I'm confused. Didn't Ighalo play in the 2019 AFCON and - I think - 2018 World Cup?
