He didn't say Jesus saved his wife. It was healing actually. The wife had mental issues. He admitted what he saw but probably still had doubts. Otherwise, he'll follow Jesus.

A Muslim does not understand salvation. So, he couldn't have beoueved Jesus saved his wife. Perhaps, you wanted to say he believed Jesus cured his wife Whether he believed or not, no one can tell.

My own father was once a Muslim turned freethinker. He, at a time instructed my mother to go to church if she wanted, but should allow his children to choose whatever they wanted. He later met Jesus and converted.

So, from the example I cited of my old man of blessed memory, believing in Jesus cannot be done without following Jesus.

From my personal experiences in evangelism, miracles are not the only thing that bring people to Christ. I have seen miracles upon miracles and yet the people who received the miracles remain unsaved. It was the same crowd before whom Christ performed miracles that still cried "crucify Him". Jesus even had to ask them at one time "For which of the good works are you stoning me?".

Unbelief is a very powerful demon. It has a strong grip on its victims. The Holy Ghost needs to break its grip before his victims can see clearly. For example, the Muslim guy here called Antichristian would not become a follower of Jesus by just seeing miracles. I can assure you that. He'll admit that Jesus indeed performed the miracles but he'll never leave Islam except the Holy Ghost arrests him. In most cases, Muslims like him will tell you that the miracle happened by the permission of Allah and that they know Jesus more than you do (ignorantly thinking that the stories of Jesus' childhood in their Quran is a knowledge of Jesus). He'll say he believes Jesus is a prophet and nothing more. The miracles he sees notwithstanding.

So, admittance of miracles is not the same thing as belief. You cannot believe in Jesus and not be saved. Not possible

Believing Jesus performed a miracle is different from believing in Jesus.

You can believe Jesus performed a miracle without following Jesus. But you cannot believe in Jesus without following Him.

In the above post you made no mention of the father whereas Jesus clearly stated that it's his father that connects him to rightly disposed persons:

No man can come to me unless the Father, who sent me, draws him, and I will resurrect him on the last day. John 6:44

So no one can have a relationship with Jesus without the father it's God who draws us to His son.

We are to worship the Almighty God just as Jesus taught his disciples {Mark 12:30} but as sinners the connection isn't there {Romans 3:23} that's why God is connecting us through Jesus His only begotten Son.

So there is nothing like having a relationship with Jesus rather it's God we must have a relationship with through what His son taught us.

To illustrate imagine someone who wants a position in Tinubu government but doesn't have any connection with him such a person needs to learn about Tinubu's likes and dislikes through what his son will tell you so that by the time you put all of this into action Tinubu will see how useful you are to him.
So it's not the son that's going to give you the position you wanted but it's him that can teach you how to please his father.

The miracles includes ‘Eesa speaking while he was still in the cradle, breathing in to a clay bird making it turn to a live bird, healing the blind & lepers, quickening the dead, etc. All this happens solely with the permission of Allah.

4. We believe ‘Eesa has no father and his mother Maryam was a virgin. This is similar to Adam who has no father or Mother and Hawa (Eve) who has no mother but was created from Adam (peace be upon them both).

5. We believe that he permitted to the Jews some of the things that had been forbidden to them.

6. We believe that he did not die and his enemies the Jews did not kill him, rather Allaah saved him from them and raised him up to heaven alive.

7. We believe that he told his followers of the coming of our Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him).

8. We believe that he will come back down at the end of time, and will disprove the claim of his enemies the Jews that they killed him, and will disprove the claim of the Christians that he is God or the son of God, and he will not accept anything from them but Islam.

9. Then he will die and the Muslims will offer the funeral prayer for him and bury him.

These are the beliefs of a Muslim towards ‘Eesa ibn Maryam (peace be upon him) as founded in the Books of Islam.

We ask Allaah to make us steadfast in faith and to cause us to die as believers.
May the Peace and blessings of Allaah be upon all the Prophets and all those who follow their Sunnah till the day of recompense!
