At just 19, Sydney Joorabchi was battling cancer for the second time. She was first diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia at 13. After harsh rounds of chemotherapy, at 16, she went into remission. But three years later it was back.

Due to her religious beliefs as a Jehovah’s Witness, Sydney was adamant not to have a blood transfusion part of her treatment.

After discussing her needs with her doctor, he suggested she seek treatment at The University of Kansas Cancer Center. That is where she met Dr. Sunil Abhyankar and his team, who got to work at figuring out how to accommodate Sydney’s medical and spiritual needs.

Based on the kind of cancer they decided to perform Car-T therapy. A type of treatment that works well for blood cancers, and often requires no chemotherapy or blood transfusions, and can have fewer side effects. Car T therapy essentially extracts your own blood, reengineers your cells and then places the new cells back into your body.

Sydney was skeptical at first because she assumed she’d ultimately need a bone marrow transplant, but 30 days after treatment, Sydney was in full remission.

Not only in USA, it can be done in Nigeria too, i have heard about those who did it in Nigeria before.

They can do so with the power of attorney wits Save life first. Perhaps they should also no use drugs or get healthcare for other illnesses. God who gave medical science this knowledge is not stupid.

Yes, we accept no transfusion treatments.

Some doctors said that should be the standard. Many patients who aren't Jehovah's Witnesses prefer they be treated without a transfusion of blood.

cancer is not an invasion my dear.

It's your normal cell which start growing uncontrollably.

This uncontrollable growth becomes dangerous because they use up body resources (nutrients and oxygen)

And they also grow and pierce through the organs as well as break off into the blood stream and get transported to other organs.

There they continue to grow uncontrollably damaging those organs.

T cells have little to do with fight against cancers because cancer cells carry the same identity (antigens) as your regular body cells. So T cell will see and ignore them as it will a normal body cell.

T cells itself can become cancerous (non-hodgkin lymphoma). In such a case, it is the T-cell that grows and multiply rapidly.

Cancer is deadly because fighting it is like fighting our normal body cells.

In fact, cancer therapy does not differentiate normal body cells from cancer cells. It just destroy all cells that are dividing rapidly.

This is why such therapies are dangerous and require regular monitoring.

Just about any cell in the body can change (mutate) and become cancerous.

Of course, that's the thing. During an argument, you select the cases that prove your point. Some people have recovered from illnesses (including cancer) without treatment at all. So no need for medical interventions, I guess.
