Spainever:
You can enter plane . Plane is cheaper . Your visit visa is valid to travel to Spain . Why do you want to take train?
.

Thank you Boss, My question is what city in Spain should I go and seek Asylum, and can I start working with my welding skills while in camp?

I decided to take a train due to the immigration
check at the Spanish Airport. I won't want to encounter any Spanish immigration problem at all, that was my reason for preferring a train.

Good day Everyone
I don’t know if anyone here has gone through Legalization process lately for Portugal. The process seems a bit confusing and I’m not sure where to start or how long it takes.
Has anyone recently gone through this process in Abuja? I’d really appreciate guidance on:
Which office/ministry to visit for authentication and legalization
Required documents to bring along
Approximate cost and timeline
Any reliable person or plug who can assist with navigating the process faster
If you’ve done this before or know someone trustworthy who helps with document Legalization in Abuja, please drop a comment. Thanks you

Whatever you do, be careful of some people who might contact you through Nairaland. I have submitted my documents to the Portuguese embassy for verification and legalization. Although my documents have left the Portuguese embassy for NUC, the NUC has not yet sent them to my school. Honestly, the process is stressful, but it’s manageable on your own.

Good afternoon house, please I need an urgent reply. I got a one-month Schengen visit visa to Portugal, my motive is to board a train to Spain when I arrive in Portugal.
My question is will I be deported back to Portugal by the Spanish Immigration due to my Nigerian passport, hope I won't have a challenge at the Spanish border.
The reason for my going to Spain is to seek Asylum. Please help a novice brother who has never left 9ja before.
There is no immigration check at all the borders of Portugal and Spain. All the border posts are no longer manned. You can buy bus ticket online and board from Lisbon (preferably Oriente bus station).

Python25to30:
Its kind of illegal so if they catch you amd you cant pay immigration fee like 350 to 400 , if u give them 9ja passport , u would meet yourself in Lagos. Once u reach and want do any crossing illegal hold portugal document and leave nigeria passport in Portugal.
Tho spain is not like Germany na dem dem dey deport pass any small thing. Even if u breath too much air as per no document.
This is gross misinformation!

We always advise people to come well prepared financially because the job may not come immediately after your arrival. You need some time to process your resident card before many employers can consider you for a job offer. Few immigrants are luckier though. Also, if you can learn the language very fast, the sky is your limit. All the best.

check from ending of this month, but you can explore other options to get your documents submitted on time if your target is to apply early to schools in Portugal, because getting that online appointment is not certain and beside you might still not get closer date for submission and by the time you will secure the appointment, get your documents verified and legalized at the embassy the school you want to apply would have closed application.

Portugal Visa appointment date for study was not open, work and that of other categories was opened. Top secret I will share with you guys are
1 No that Portugal embassy is getting overwhelmed by the high number of applications they are receiving, so very soon they want to start cutting down number of visa approval, I have been privy to observe some certain changes at the embassy presently, documents submitted to them for verification take weeks now before they send to NUC.
I was not suprise they did not open portal for student Visa appointment booking this October, it is obvious they might start tightening their immigration laws just as countries like Poland did in the area of Visa approval and Appointment.
These are my takes, if you are waiting for visa appointment the best approach nowbis to reach out to your sch to help you schedule study visa appointment by reaching out to the embassy, many schs have helped their prospective student in that regards.
As the process is getting tighten any one looking for admission shd try and get his or her documents authenticated and legalize before ending of November and then apply for admission because that's the best period to apply for admission, yes there are no submissions appointment, but you can get Expres appointment to submit and legalize your documents on time and stand a better chance of getting admission with first attempt because that's when sch in Portugal give the highest number of admission and this will help to save extra application fee for you and applying on time help you to sort out appointment issues on time, those that apply early last year can attest to those fact.
Lastly during your admission application proccess focuse on schs that aids their students in securing visa appointment date at the embassy thats the dynamics now, this is very important.
What are the schools you can mention that aids their students?

ISCTE
UNI PORTO
NOVA IMS
UBI
Re: Anyone Studying In Portugal!!!! by freedomtours(m): 9:06am On Jan 16

many schools will open its lst phase in February
ISCTE 2nd phase have open
NOVA IMS will be open 3rd February

some schools like ISCTE first admission list will be released first week of February

It is not compulsory but some schools request for it, so we advice add you add it, never forget to write good motivational letter, another important documents is CV, the more experience your greater chance of getting admission, even Recommendation letter, it put you ahead of others in getting admission and also even Scholarship with good grade. As the admission is getting competitive, you will have to put in a good application if you want to get admission.
legalize your documents before applying, this is very important, because most applicant that applied last year without legalized certificates was denied admission.
