Blueelf:Na just patriotism blind most of us ,and d love for super eagles Wc is normal..cos on a normal day aw can u rate a player dt u call ur creative hub and such a player cant even create or score in his last 20games for his country…later we would blame it on eagles set up …Yinmu, same player has played under diff national coaches yet no result ,same excuse Na dt ndidi useless pass ,I can count his good games with my fingers since he debuted for super eagles If I were to be coach today, I will stop inviting ndidi with immediate effect,as for iwobi …I will give him 5matches to proof himself in d same role he plays in his club,if he doesn’t perform ,no more invitation..my first assignment is to revamp dt midfield dept …not even Ronaldo delima will Function properly with d personnel we av in dt midfield |

elyte89:actually he has 2 assists in his last 20 matches. Friendly against ghana and the assist to set up dele bashiru against south africa during finidi George's time. While i want to give him a little breather considering how well our strikers miss chances, the fact that he scores and assists well in his club but cant produce similar output in his last 30 games for us is quite troubling. |

bad belle aside, Looking at the world cup groups, i expect morocco, ivory coast, egypt, algeria (they are in argentina's group. Would like to know Argentina fetish with countries ending with geria in the world cup) and senegal to comfortably make the round of 32 stage as 1st or 2nd in their group. DRC ( if they make it to the world cup) should be able to qualify as one of the best 3rd place. South africa will not see points against korea and mexico. Their chance of a point in that group is even dependent on a lesser european team winning the play off so no chance. Cape verde will try their best but with no afcon action to prepare and debutants in a group with spain, Uruguay and saudi means they can only go to usa for history sake. Ghana are not going to afcon. They are in a group with england , croatia and panama. The least fifa rated country in that group apart from ghana is panama at 30. I dont expect Ghana to pick a point. This world cup should be an enjoyable one to watch. |

Amedino99:I saw the werey too. Lol. Ironically, apart from Cape Verde, if there's any African team that is likely to mess up the bed at the World Cup and come back shamefully and empty handed, its most likely Ghana. I won't be surprised if Panama upset them in the first game. As for England and Croatia, this Ghana team I'm seeing is definitely getting spit roasted by those two. 😂 |

What we really need is another westerhoof. The Super Eagles is suffering from bad coaching. That's sll. Also, maybe someone like emmanuel aysosi may be more effective than iwobi. But....our coaches limit their thinking to playing in a top 5 league means you ate better. Stuff like that happens. We should pray that God will give our coaches wisdom. That's all. Tactics and formation. Again, the Congolese ciach outsmarted chrlle. The Zimbabwean coach again outsmarted chrlle. Gosh...we need another westerhoof. A master tactician. Players are useless or at best limited without a good coach. Tactics, tactics, formation, coaching wins in football not just quality of players |

Amedino99:Algeria may struggle to beat Austria , they are a very good side, I expect Ghana to beat Panama but I still don’t think they’ll make it out of the group, although if they manage to bring in some foreign born players both in defense and midfield then MAYBE they can get something against Croatia |

Swanzi:Dude. Please stop it. The giants are still in mourning . Honestly, the whole thing is pure football comedy. Before the qualifiers the Super Eagles fans were busy calling everyone “minnows,” “kasongo teams,” “yeye countries,” and acting like the big bosses of African football. Now they’ve missed the World Cup and all those “small teams” are serving revenge ice-cold, the Eagles fans are confused like: “Why is everybody mocking us? What did we do?” 😭😂 African football banter is undefeated, unlike the bad belle mini-eagles 🤣⚽🦅 I like that they actually believe that them not supporting other Africans in the world cup actually means something...like seriously these people think highly of themselves, they remind Me of the Somalis in the USA whom for so long insulted Black Americans and claimed they wanted no association with them because white liberals were giving them fake love and smiles but now that White supremacists are on their backs expect the same black Americans to stand with them because " they are all black" . Narcissistic tendencies should be declared a serious mental illness ![]() |

jihday:they will definitely add some foreign born players. All that bravado talk about not allowing people that did not start the qualifiers to make the squad was just from the euphoria of qualification talking. Unless fifa increases the squad limit for the teams, some of the players that played the qualifiers are staying back to accommodate the foreign born, injury or no injury. |

15 days to Nigeria first game in the Afcon 2025 edition. Honestly I want Nigeria to face South Africa and Dr Congo in the knockout round of the tournament so Super eagles can get retribution for their losses. Up super eagles of 🇳🇬 . All eyes in Morocco for Afcon. |

Irrespective of current woes in Nigerian soccer ⚽️ recently I still back the super eagles 🇳🇬 to win the Afcon trophy. Patriotism over everything hahaha. At least this guys should win this tournament to appease their fans. Super eagles aka Osimhen fc should think about people back home |

What killed our football 1)Over reliance on rejected foreign born players 2) Top five league obsession 3) Salisu Yusuf and his godfathers 4) Scouts, agents and godfathers that hijacked our age grade football making it difficult to produce and graduate quality footballers. |

Stanley Nwabali is set to miss AFCON. It is reported that he aggravated his injury woes at the playoffs in Morocco. We could be seeing a potential call-up of Wrexham FC's young goalkeeper, Arthur Okonkwo. |
