A Nigerian woman living in the United Kingdom has gone viral after sharing an emotional video in which she lamented being dumped by her Nigerian boyfriend for a Zimbabwean woman.

The woman, preciousonyegu1 took to her TikTok page to share this.

In the clip, she tearfully expressed her frustration and heartbreak, questioning what she described as growing competition between Zimbabwean and Nigerian women over relationships with Nigerian men abroad.

She said she could not understand why a Zimbabwean woman would take interest in her partner when, according to her, there are men from her own country to date.

Visibly distressed, she revealed that her boyfriend ended their relationship because he preferred the Zimbabwean lady, claiming he was attracted to her physical features. The Nigerian woman said she felt deeply hurt, adding that she is worried because she is approaching menopause and feels time is no longer on her side.

“Zimbabwean ladies, what’s this competition between you and Nigerian ladies over own prosperity, our own men. Don’t you have men in your country? My boyfriend left me in the UK over a Zimbabwean lady just because I don’t have big nyash and front… I’m really frustrated right now cause I’m nearing menopause. Leave our men alone.”

It’s the usual story. When they are younger, the mantra is ‘all Nigerian men are scum,’ and they only want white partners. But as soon as they hit the early thirties, Nigerian men suddenly become ‘their own prosperity.’ And once a guy commits? She immediately goes back to her initial, true character.

Men need to be smarter. Start leaving women above 30 and focus on dating ladies under 25. Treat them the same way they treat broke guys: if a lady doesn't meet your standards (especially after you’ve secured the bag), just drop her. Don't fall for the sudden, fake affection from a woman above 30.

I think the general attitude of Nigerians (and by extension Nigeria ladies) is also making Nigerian men to prefer women from other countries who may be calmer, more respectful, more submissive and nag less. Big nyash and boobs may be the bonus
