Last December, I got TWO remote jobs that paid a little over ₦400k per month combined. My goal was to save ₦2.4 million by the end of the year, but I managed to save ₦1 million — falling short by ₦1.2 million. Still, the process taught me real financial discipline.

I also stopped entertaining men chasing me because I realized many had little to offer, and choosing myself helped me embrace a stronger sense of moral chastity.

Saving 40k monthly from my salary.... I've been able to save 509k cos I started with 27k before increasing it to 40k. This decision changed my life even though it was very tough at first. But I can manage now sha.

No chasing women. I see them as no value to me.

I quit my 9-5 job that pays 30k for a remote job I saw here.

I was literally gambling my life choices as the organisation could have chosen someone else after interview.

There was a time I even thought they have employed the service of someone else, but I later got the job and it pays 70k.

Even thought that's the minimum wage, it has really been helpful.

I'm still open and searching for better remote job to enable me learn a skill by the side.( I'm starting backend development by January).

3) Not skipping NYSC. I thought it was going to be a waste of my time because an American employer is likely not to ask for my NYSC certificate

Now I understand that the place one find themself can trigger their evolution.
Some thoughts can never occur to you when you're in some particular environment. I had to change my environment, by way of NYSC to become this person right now and I'm grateful to God

Going to brothels around 11am to 1pm
Instead of going there at night

Going in the morning, that's when they shower and smell nice and look fresh.

Taking my spiritual life seriously, for me, was the game-changer

I stopped playing bet and for the first time in my life I was able to save up to 2.8m

After 4years plus of not going to church I resumed September this year and since then the new church I'm going now have really shaped me positively

I just want to simply say the lessons I learnt from this year are breathtaking and brought me good things. I Thank God 2025 gave me lessons and I will hold tight to my chest going forward if God spares my life.
