Was she the event protocol officer or enforcer?
In a civilian government anyone can call out the governor without any shame and there's no crime in it.

Constitutionally the wife of the president have no power but intelligent people know that everything is not all about the constitutions. The wife of the president have more power and influence than most governors it is just not written down.

is it that, the governor invited them to come for his singing and dancing event ?
If he wants to thank God during his speech he should be respected and allowed. Remi should know her place and respect the governor of the state.

The woman is untrained unfortunately. People like her need to go back to polishing school. The same unruly behavior she exhibited in the Senate that made Dino to nearly slap her. Very uncouth.
so Adeleke and Dino are the trained ones? pls read what you said Dino did

What do u mean by this ?

U should be ashamed of yourself honestly speaking.

After seeing the best possible shot of the video, I realised it was just a normal and common interaction between age long acquaintances in Yoruba culture but amplified by some online people who just want to talk. We did see things like this often in our religious and tribal gatherings while we were children and laugh it off.

Watch closely the interactions between Boda Jackson and Aunty Remi with a Yoruba cultural binoculars and not the “obedient” one, you will see “agbalagba meji ti o se erepa” with no respect lost between them. Afterall it was a Yoruba cultural event.
So Yoruba cultural event teaches disrespect and unruly behaviour?
Gov.Adeleke is a democratically elected governor while the "Office of the first lady" is unrecognised by the Nigerian constitution meaning nobody voted for her to earn that office so why the disrespect??
It seems you people's own definition of sophistication is different from what's defined in the dictionary oh!

Just imagine. Is this the job of the press? When a country has a clueless news media, don't be surprised when things keep going downhill. Enjoy the circus.

That man had the seal of the Governor of Osun embossed on the podium that he used. He was there as an executive Governor of a state and not some cultural ambassador of oduduwa even though it was a cultural event. That was a condescending behavior meted out to the Governor whose office is backed by the constitution of the Federal Republic.

We rationalize and explain away bad behavior when it threatens our ethnic, cultural and political loyalty and critcise same when it's from another cultural mileau.

Re: Channels TV Crew: Oluremi Tinubu Dropped The Ball, Should Apologise To Adeleke by EngrEssien(m): 2:07pm On Dec 10, 2025
Imagine the audacity from the woman boss. The governor was even acting matured by laughing her off, the woman still get mind return to him for further warning. The thing touched me sha, but wetin man go do na? Na the kind country where person find himself na.

SixSeven:
Excuse me. Can you stop this nonsense you do where you tag everyone who disagrees as this or that? That is bullying itself and you're not different from the Obidients yourself. Any contrary opinion, you guys find a way to call it names.

While he was singing or performing, Oluremi Tinubu approached the podium and told him to stop the music, saying something like “I’m giving you five minutes to finish your speech; the music is enough.” When he continued despite the warning, she allegedly threatened to switch off the microphone.

The “Office of the First Lady” is not defined under Nigeria’s Constitution and thus she has no legal authority to “order” a state governor at an event. Her office has no formal power over elected governors. From a social/ethical standpoint, many observers from the media, commentators, and members of the public consider her act disrespectful or embarrassing, especially given that a sitting governor was publicly admonished by a non-elected spouse.

This was a breach of good decorum.

Constitutionally, the Governor is not only in charge of the State but in charge of chieftancy affairs through the Local Government Commission so what are you saying? What has Obidient lens got to do with this? When will you accept responsibility and stop making up excuses like a responsible adult?
Re: Channels TV Crew: Oluremi Tinubu Dropped The Ball, Should Apologise To Adeleke by ddippset(m): 2:08pm On Dec 10, 2025
Even though I find it quite irritating, there is nothing wrong or legally consequential with singing at an event.

If the man wants to sing and dance at every event, no one has the right to embarrass him or take action against him.

The only way to stop him is for the Assembly to impeach him for bringing the office of the Executive Governor to disrepute😜 or voting him out next election.

Madam Tinubu has no right to do what she did, let's stop defending nonsense abeg..

That said, I must say that I find Adeleke's singing and dancing in public very irritating and annoying...
