We should be generating a whole lot more. Lagos should be a hub for flights to all parts of Africa. After the MMA renovation, the President should look into establishing a national carrier that has connections to every part of Africa, Europe, Asia, and the Americas. Many countries have tried it, and it has worked. Ethiopia, Turkey, UAE, Morocco, and many more |

fabolouz1:62 million is peanuts in Aviation, plus it takes lots of money to run airports and other amenities. Imagine 62 million dollars in a whole year. Atlanta Airport alone makes 763 million dollars in a single year. |

YesDaddyTill203:Just on Ticket taxes alone. It does not include the Tax on revenue gotten by the airlines. It does not include the fees paid by the Airlines each time their plane lands at an airport. It does not include the parking fees, baggage handling fees, operational permits, licenses for both the airlines and the pilots, service charges, etc. Just the tax that was gotten whenever a passenger buys a ticket. But Still, I agree with you that our Aviation sector is underperforming. |

Why is Tinubu continuing to borrow even more money than Buhari despite saving $84 billion from subsidy removal? What is A-looter Propaganda Congress, APC doing to all these money, while we are paying more for petrol and everything else in this hyperinflation crisis ![]() https://africa.businessinsider.com/local/lifestyle/nigerias-debt-to-the-world-bank-under-the-current-president-nears-dollar10-billion/t8qdbsc ManirBK: |

YesDaddyTill203:Beautiful 😍 Suggestions to Govt-Indeed👍. •For Example, Why Till Now Nigeria Air Could Not Fly - is still a buzzer,For During Buhari,he Allowed the then Minister of Aviation to Dupe The Country of Billions In Naira and Dollars 💰 and he is still walking Freely today! What A Country and We Have National Assembly That Does Not Worry About Our Aviation 🪽 Sector that Should Be Generating Humongous Money For The Nation. But Because there is no Accountability and Transparent 🪟 Leaders,so we wallow in lack of Knowledge and Understanding! •DID YOU KNOW HOW MANY FLIGHTS TO AND FROM THAT THE AMERICAN AIRLINES HAVE IN A DAY? Amongst the American Cities and to and from Other Countries - Yet We Can't Boast of A Single National Airlines - which should have been a Pride Of All NIGERIANS! shior!! |

YesDaddyTill203:We don't need a national carrier, as it's a cash burner. If we keep enabling ease of doing business for our local carriers to grow, they are also a national carrier in deeds. We thank the president for overhauling the MMA as it's look overdue, and hopefully will serve as a functional and dynamic international hub. |
