What a careless and annoying statement! Who trained those bandits and how did they become so powerful? Who supply them with arms and how do they bypass security to deliver those arms? These are some of the questions that demand answers.

Unfortunately, this Gumi man is trying to divert from the main issue, and asking the government to negotiate with terrorists. The government should declare war on them and stop treating them with kids gloves. Or better still,they should hire meceneries that will do the job. Saying that the Nigerian army cannot defeat bandits is like saying that we have lost the war against them.

To think that this Gumi creep is a retired Nigerian Army officer. It shows how hugely compromised he is with his attempt to use reverse psychology here to deflect attention from the real issues.

Second, almost all the Militia bandits are foreign Fula militia bandits and the Lakurawa are foreign Tuareg bandits from Niger Republic and Northern Mali. How the hell does Gumi want Nigeria to negotiate with foreign Fula and Tuareg bandits terrorizing several indigenous Nigerian communities?

I will advice President Tinubu and the military commanders and advisers to urgently ensure that sympathizers or non-state actors such as the foreign Fula militia bandits and Gumi be taken down ASAP for collaborating with foreign bandits to inflict pain on several Nigerian indigenous communities. Period.
