I think he spent the minimum of 5 years per rank starting from 2015. Colonel to 2020 and brigadier general till 2025. And promotion might be faster than the required 5 years if one achieves something significant. So I think he's probably due for promotion.

I now understand why Nigerian Generals run at sounds of knockouts because they're inexperienced and not battle tested.
