TV01:You contradicted yourself by criticising her later in your post. Does that make you a hater too? |
| Re: Living In The Uk-life Of An Immigrant (part 3) by Fred2020: 10:56am On Dec 12, 2025 |
TV01:Obviously, you are gobsmacked, but it does not mean others who aren't are haters or not objective. Kemi lacks substance and character and is just looking to drop "hot policy proposals", which is why she can't attract the native or migrant communities and continue to poll dismally. |
| Re: Living In The Uk-life Of An Immigrant (part 3) by RodgersAkpafu: 11:01am On Dec 12, 2025 |
Fred2020:Kemi is actually doing a good job if you ask me. She is the leader of the tories A disgraced party who lost woefully due to the fallout of the austerity measures Its a tough job and she is doing well in that sense Most Nigerians who dont like her (plus othet migrant groups) dont because of what she has said about immigrants and Nigerians in the past, which is almost all the time, THE TRUTH Like I have said 100 times before, on this thread and elsewhere, people, esp Nigerians react to things based on how it made them feel, not really the content of what was said |
| Re: Living In The Uk-life Of An Immigrant (part 3) by Fred2020: 11:13am On Dec 12, 2025 |
RodgersAkpafu:Obviously you are also gobsmacked by her and so understandably consider her words are "TRUTHS" to you, same way Reform supporters believe Nigel's "TRUTHS" and labour supporters believe Starmars "TRUTH". Reality on the ground is that the Conservative party is being hollowed out to reform, not just through defection but also through high losses to Reform in local by-elections being held. There will be very little left of the conservatives before the next election at this rate, and the question would be if there was a chance someone else in the conservatives could have done a better job. |

Fred2020:"gobsmacked" by her indeed lmaoooo. ![]() To answer ur last paragraph, the answer is NO... There would have been little hope for the tories IF Rishi Sunak took the reins the time Liz Truss did After her disastrous budget saga, that was the nail in the coffin And tories being "hollowed out" by reform is a figment of your imagination. We will be alive to see how 2029 elections play out Having said that, almost everything Kemi said is true, ESPECIALLY about immigrants And yall are mad and feel personally attacked cos yall know it's true |
| Re: Living In The Uk-life Of An Immigrant (part 3) by RodgersAkpafu: 11:23am On Dec 12, 2025 |
2029 is around the corner With the USA openly declaring that they will "interfere" in the elections across Europe, let's see if the ramifications of that will destroy Reform or not My bet is that somehow Labour manages to survive, but lose a lot of seats and forced into a coalition govt Like it happened in 2010, but this time with the tories |
| Re: Living In The Uk-life Of An Immigrant (part 3) by RodgersAkpafu: 11:25am On Dec 12, 2025 |
I also predict that the Lib Dems and the Green Party will also overpeform and clajm more seats And Reform winning AT BEST 110 seats Sadiq Khan wins another term as mayor These are my bets |
| Re: Living In The Uk-life Of An Immigrant (part 3) by Fred2020: 11:38am On Dec 12, 2025 |
RodgersAkpafu:Kemi’s main miscalculation was believing she could run a campaign that paints migrants as the root of Britain’s problems and speaks down to them, yet still expect either migrants or native Britons to find her appealing — despite being a migrant herself. She may be trying to recalibrate her approach now, but the damage is already done. Nigel, on the other hand, can run an anti-migrant campaign that pins society’s problems on migrants or EU citizens because he is British. In Surrey, historically a Conservative stronghold every single by-election this year has flipped seats from conservatives to the Lib Dems or Reform. The party is on track to be wiped out here, and the same pattern is playing out in many other places. |

RodgersAkpafu:😂 Skin colour as usual was the issue then and it backfired wella The day we all agree that racism is the root of all these back and forth gaslighting we’ll stop all the English grammar we speak here! |
| Re: Living In The Uk-life Of An Immigrant (part 3) by RodgersAkpafu: 11:57am On Dec 12, 2025 |
Goke7:Rishi Sunak would have done a better job But na when everything don dabaru That's when they remembered that we have a level headed economist/banker in our ranks Everytime I watch Liz Truss interviews, I wonder how this one became MP, not even talk of PM, but she is white so she will get a pass Rishi was a better Prine Minister than Liz Truss and Boris Johnson |
| Re: Living In The Uk-life Of An Immigrant (part 3) by RodgersAkpafu: 11:59am On Dec 12, 2025 |
Fred2020:You don talk wetin dey pain you in ur heart of hearts, lol (the bolded) Nigel speaks down on immigrants ALL THE TIME Rupert Lowe does it Even Zia Yusufu is doing it So that is a non issue E just pain una say Kemi dey give woto woto |

RodgersAkpafu:You have your reasons to be gobsmacked by Kemi, I have my reasons not to be, it doesnt pain me any more than it pains you and its nothing to be ashamed of...that is how democracy works. Vote for her during the coming election. peace! |

RodgersAkpafu:You see at the bolded. I agree with 150%: young, charismatic, intelligent, economics savvy, good communicator. He was the reason I voted conservatives even with their anti-immigrant policies at the time which was fair by the way. |

Fred2020:You captured it all, i will never vote for kemi in any capacity, i will actively encourage anyone to vote against her. Kemi will never win Gen election even if she ran against a hamster. |

RodgersAkpafu:Well...that is the least of my worries. The humiliation Rishi suffered during last general election will be nothing to what she will experience if her name appears in ballot paper in next general election |

My people Please how do i keep the house a mould free home. I used the plastic container thing but it seems not working as the mould increases by the day plus I have got kids. A colleague mentioned electric humidifier as the only alternative. Please how true is this? Are there specific brand? Please those who had fought battles with mould and won, please can you advise. Many thanks |

Noworries11:- Always open windows - Use electric dehumidifier possibly every night. You can get any from amazon - Continue to control the moulds with mould spray till summer when you start opening windows Those are the options |
