Osihmen missed 1 on 1
Osimhen used to have 1 v 1 as well as penalties issues
He’s sorted out the penalty issue, his pen kicks are no more obvious
Bro needs to fix his 1 v 1 issue ASAP
Gabon game now today undecided
I have not seen Halaand miss a 1 v 1. 🏃‍♂️😅

Heard about it too. Such a stupid protest from Nigeria and Cameroon.

First of all, I don't believe FIFA will be willing to risk having any more drama and upsetting an entire country and possibly an entire continent by throwing DRC under the bus to favor Nigeria.

They're already dealing with so much backlash for the World Cup draw. You know how the average soccer fans think. Penalizing DRC by disqualifying will be perceived as nothing more than corruption to favor Nigeria. I won't be surprised if they just fine them and move on with their lives.

Also, aren't we ashamed that we keep trying desperately to find these backdoors to a tournament we didn't deserve to qualify for? This whole thing is pointless if you ask me. Count your losses and rebuild yourself. We need to stop this disgusting habit of looking for short cuts everywhere.

If I'm not mistaken, Haaland has missed an open net at least twice. That's arguably worse.

The problem is that if FIFA does not uphold its statutes, then it risks more future precedents that could be damaging to the game. This is why they had no choice but to uphold their rules when SA fielded an ineligible player against us, despite no one knowing initially.. I'm not sure how FIFA will handle this now, since Cameroon is also involved. Tunisia was the country that started all these player ineligibility things after a game had been won and lost. Perhaps FIFA should amend their statues that once a game has been played and decided, all eligibility issues and complaints will not be entertained. My thoughts.

The law is the law! When did FIFA start caring about what a country like DRC thinks. If they can deduct SA points nothing will stop DRC sanction if found wanting! As a lawyer you should know this!

Osasu is a strong critic of anything Nigeria. For him to have tweeted this like he proposed weeks ago, I believe him!
NFF should call up their legal team asap!

Well, first of all, I'm not a lawyer.

Secondly, whatever happens at the end of this whole drama won't change the fact that we don't deserve to qualify for the World Cup anyway.

If we somehow qualify by magic, cool. But it doesn't detract from my point.

But come to think of it..if it’s true ,aw can a team
Field a whole 6ix ineligible players ? Aw come? I don’t want to believe it’s deliberate.
There’s a miscommunication somewhere…6ix is too much if true

Osimhen needs to study tapes of Ronaldo, The Phenomenon, and learn how to bury a one-on-one situation.
He also needs to know that Penalty responsibility has automatically fallen on him from henceforth at the AFCON moving forward.

NFF should take their L in Peace. If Naija finds a backdoor to this WC, the laxity and delusion it will build in our football administrators can only be imagined.

If it has to do with the country constitution then it’s most unfortunate! That will be a disaster mhen and an indictment on the FA who are grossly irresponsible

Yeah, most definitely not deliberate. In which case I low-key feel bad for them if what I'm hearing is true.

Let's see what happens. I think Osasu said somewhere that the entire case will blow open before the new year and we may get the final verdict.

Ghana, Cameroon, Ivory Coast, Kenya, South Africa, Egypt, Morocco, Burkina Faso and now maybe DR Congo very soon.

Our list of rivals and enemies in Africa keeps piling up. Lol.

This. This is exactly what I'm concerned about. It's just more justification for their gross incompetence.

We thoroughly deserve to qualify to the World Cup.
We have not lost to any team in Africa since Finidi sabotaged us against Benin!
And we have played both the 3rd and 4th best team in Africa going by the last AFCON. Ciao!
