Itzlinda:Nobody working in the oil sector that's not balling. How will I explain it? I work I the downstream sector. I know how this works; everyone is fighting for themselves first. Yes, there's corruption, and they need to reduce it, but why didn't Dangote expose them until it touched him? It's just like before u destroy me I will destroy you. Game of chess. You see all those guys bringing in product (the cabals); they've been together for a long time, it's like a cult. They will fight with everything they've got. Those guys finished Nigeria with a subsidy. You bring in 3kmt, and DPR will register 5 or 6kmt. The Navy, NPA, NUPENG, DPR, the company, and others will now share the rest. That's billions of naira stolen. |

Dangote had a formal meeting with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu last week and after that reduced the price of only PMS from his gantry to N699. The details of his meeting with PBAT were not disclosed, however it's suspected that it influenced his price reduction decision. FOLYKAZE:No African country can compete with the Russian Black Market as a result of it's high sulphur content and high emission gases. Also, it's not regulated under an international benchmark pricing like $65 per barrel. |

This is what happens when you pay tax. You start to find your voice. The more you pay the more you get annoyed at civil servants stealing g your money. Dangote pays N400b every year in company taxes, not o it are they stealing the tax , they are trying to frustrate the company paying the tax When tax bill comes into effect, everybody (particularly the silent middle/ upper moddle class) will start to find their voice. |

We are still talking about those funding terrorism, why do we keep making "Farouks" in charge of different aspects of our oil sector? Same thing with defence. Look at the result. |

FOLYKAZE:very valid observations you have made here , but the other side of it is that of the other criminals who have been milking the country dry for decades in connivance with our government officials that is the subsidy scam . So now , let the two sides just shun the media noise and deliver petrol at cheapest rate for Nigerians . So be it if we can get the product at 270 naira/litre. Let them force each other's hand . Didn't these evil marketer claim almost 950 naira petrol landing cost subsequently after the announcement of subsidy removal ? The Nigerian masses are trapped under the lions' massive paw of these greeddy capitalists and we keep gasping for air of relief |

Only a 🤡🤡🤡 would pay direct taxes to these criminals 😂😂 Y'all better find a way to boycott that nonsense come 2026. Paying taxes to political bandits and kleptomaniancs doesn't make you a smart citizen. It only makes you an edliot. They steal because we enable them. To continue to donate your taxes to these animals who are never accountable to you, in fact makes you an enabler of corruption. |

FOLYKAZE:Subjectively, Dangote has always been monopolistic in business practices. But that's seems not the case here. The question is why are the so called competitors panicking.. they had the autonomy to have slashed prices way long before Dangote came into that sector, but they refused to do so because they are also profiting from all the shenanigans attached with the fluctuating oil crises, market prices and the power it bestows on them to move the market as they wish to. If Dangote wants to corner the the market in favour of the populace and stiffen out those preeks, God will give him strength to do so. Call it monopoly or populace manipulation, those organizations are headed by crooks whose main interest is only their benefits and profit margins and not the consequence of whatever their policies have on the general masses. Unnecessary hikes here and there.. so kudos to him taking them head on. He won't cripple them but he most definitely has the might to drag them for as much as he able to for now. Now, business wise, Dangote making this move is because EU have refused to buy from him because they claim his product does not meet their standard yet, and when you have a load of product that your biggest or projected customers says no to, you want to sell it off, clear the storages and if by God you are able to cripple the European market that rejected your product while at it, all the better. He should continue slashing the price, Russia should go sell else where.. if those importers still want to go down that route, I hope he will be able stiffen them out of the African market for good. Enough of their greed and plundering and the so called locals helping them achieving it. But disclosing his family affairs is a bit too low for someone like Dangote.. and by the way $5m, for 4 kids in 6 years doesn't seem that steep for what those men can afford legally if you do the math properly.. that boils down to about $800k a year.. any top oil exec sees more than that quarterly.. unless, if it's $5m for all 4 per year, which I don't think makes any sense as that will equate to app $30m.. But all in all, him dealing with them is a relief package for the general populace.. if fuel price reduce, production can increase a little bit and price of commodities will slash a little bit even if not too much but at least the headache of doing calculation for oil prices will reduce first.. the excess funds can be used for other things, hire extra new staffs, maybe starting a new building to expand your company capacity or mayb some new equipments, or any other ways that can facilitate growth rather than buying exorbitantly from those preeks upstate.. my take |

FOLYKAZE:Huuuuunnnhh. I think the importers should actually go for building their own refineries here in Nigeria. Thereby, making the most of the competition more competitive. It is very important to build up our production skills and lines, and making our people more confident and capable in petroleum products industry, instead of going to the general market to buy finished product |

MartinCorridon:How is Tinubu dealing with Northern oligarchs or any oligarch for matter. Tinubu is only consolidating power gor 2017 elections. As Oshiomole once said, once you join APC, all your sins are wiped clean, and you become a new creature- a Saint. NMPDRA boss lose his job? Why? Has Wike that was alleged to have bought properties worth over 5 million in florida lost his job? |

Itzlinda:You don't get what I am saying. If the gut had not crossed dangote he won't have spilt the corruption shit out. MRS is for the dabtatas, when they were collect subsidy why didn't the accuse the guy of corruption. What I am saying is everybody is fighting for his or herself first. Like u said big ups to dangote but there must be competition. If mot for importation madness the price war won't be happening in our favour. |
