Chai, when you big you big sha. Dangote's perception of cheap school fees for secondary school in Sokoto is 100k. When there are people in the country that can't afford 20k sef for fees. |

keemsleek:How will dangote knows Saiyu Dantata is collecting subsidy money. Even if he knows the fact that he did not join him to collect the dirty money means he's good person. Only few of us will see easy way to collect money and not engage in it. Do you expect him to snitch on his brother? 😂 |

FOLYKAZE:As much as I believe in the free market and competition, there's something not just right about the competition he faces. Dangote is an upstart in the business no matter how big his refinery is. The old guards don't want to lose their business, all who import their wares to an upstart, or be subject to him I.e. have to buy from him The Petroleum Industry Bill actually states that imports of refined fuels must stop once there is sufficient refining capacity in the country. Those who can import are only those who have refining capacity. That means only Dangote can import. Tinubu refuses to enforce this part of the Bill as he did not want Dangote to become a monopoly. Had it been OBJ, Jonathan, or Buhari in office, this would have been implemented ASAP. Nevertheless, competition has to be fair. I suspect these importers are involved in sharp practices. |

grandstar:The evidence abounds out there, that the importers had gotten cheaper fuel and supplied at a price fairer than Dangote's. The report below captured Oct 30 this year, not too long again. It is a fact that the importers are the one who forces the hand of Dangote to reduce price because they always flood the market with cheap Russian fuel. So in this view, competition must be made alive at all cost.

What concerns me even more is the contradiction: individuals who advocate for the implementation of Sharia and jihad in the region often do not send their children to countries aligned with those ideologies, such as Afghanistan, Iraq, or Iran. Instead, they prefer to provide their children with Western education in European countries. |

FOLYKAZE:It's not possible for imported fuel to be cheaper than local fuel, its not economically sensible. Nigeria has the raw material - crude. Imported fuel will incure, loading cost from refinery to port, shipping cost including insurance from loading port Nigerian port, import duties and other taxes at the port, then ofloading costs to fuel depots. Dangote fuel does not incur this costs. The reason imported ports seems cheaper is because of the low quality of imported fuels, importers first import regular fuels from refineries abroad, the shop it to other countries for blending, the blend the fuel to make it cheaper, and then import this poor quality fuel to Nigeria. |

For those saying that Dangote, is crashing the price to spite the fuel importers, Remember Dangote intially never wanted to put a price on his fuels, they twisted his hand into using their templates. Now that they have decided to use a different one, by crashing the price, because the international oil refineries are closing down and losing business , they want to distablise Nigeria. The federal government should support Dangote and fight this Oil war, he is doing it for Nigeria, He is doing it for Africa. They killed Ajaokuta, killed Portharcourt ferilizer company, Killed our Alminium industry and killed almost all our small scale industries. Now is the time to speak up. |

FOLYKAZE:How can imports get cheaper in this current market? What is the landing cost? Nigerian importers are importing substandard PMS into the country. How can a country that now has close o 1.5 million refinery capacity still be importing fuel. This is why no FDI is coming to Nigeria. Nigeria will never industrialise if it cannot improve its manufacturing output. |

FOLYKAZE:I dont know how much they paid you but You cant demonize dangote to Nigeria, should i tell you the benefit of dangote refinery to Nigerians alone or to the govt or our GNP ..The question is that why should Dangote lose sleep if anyone choose to import their productd and sell at lose? Why should Dangote cry if importers chose to import and spill their products all over the sea?i am not hoping to convince you buh i just want to tell you what you dont know.. what is the worst that Dangote can do to us, highest he increases his price to 2k per litre abi, But the marketers can easily come in back to rescue us But if Dangote refinery crashes today, who will save Nigerians from Marketers ?? you still think you are smart ![]() |
| Re: Petrol Price War Turns Dirty As Dangote Attacks NMDPRA Boss by FOLYKAZE(m): 3:19pm On Dec 15, 2025 |
reddingtonblack:What's important is that since we do not other refinery to compete nor Dangote having the capacity to supply us sustainably (Dangote is not having the strength to meet up Nigeria daily needs) , importers should be allowed to import. And competition should be allowed. He can cry all he likes but competition must be sustained |

FOLYKAZE:No ! No ! No ! please answer the question IF dangote refinery crash who else can rescue us from importers should they exploit us You guyz easily scream monopoly without acknowledging that Dangote survival will pave way for more investors/refineries cos the myth is no one can survive in that sector Please as a Nigeria engage me tell me the benefit of marketers to Nigeria economy that we must prioritize them over dangote Nobody as said importers should not exist, what Dangote is querying is why issue more licenses to marketers at a time we are having local production output scaling up .. please rationalize that PIA act prioritize local production, but why are the law agencies subverting the rule As a sane Nigerian should we be praying for more Importers or more Refinery.. i wont insult you ![]() |

MartinCorridon:Did you read the news at all? Where was tinubu mentioned? Left to tinubu dangote refinery would never have come on stream cos of his Malta blending facility. Dangote had to expose him when he almost stiffened his neck before his refineries take-off, from adulteratd fuel allegations to snatching the down stream operations and the fire outbreak which was quickly put out. Today, Nigerians are happy cos he slashed pump price which the cabals aren't happy about. May God spare dangote's life cos that video in which he talked about how his fortune should be shared in the event of death made me feel he'll be stepping on toes soon, and his life could be in danger as a result. This regime is killing Nigeria and dangote doesn't seem to be happy about it. |
