Imagine a player dribbles you, and your whole team is trying to fight the player. I was like what in the world is going on with modern football?
Mujtahida:
Machine football, no flair, no art, just athletes running up and down playing system football all thanks to Gaurdiola. When I curse tiki taka everyday people don't understand how that dreadful philosophy hollowed out football and left us with a pathetic unsatisfying husk.

They are not used to it. Dribbling is a crime in modern football

If as a country you say you don't operate dual citizenship and then you use a dual citizenship player, what it means is that you have used a player that is not your citizen. The implication is that every country can then use players who are not their own citizens.
Last comment I'll make on this issue sha.

The way you described citizenship is not the way it works. If you are a citizen of a country by descent, you're a citizen from the moment you are born. Whether you have a passport yet or another nationality. it doesn't matter. Eberechi Eze, Olise, Saka, Musiala are all bonafide Nigerian citizens. Citizenship by descent is a citizenship acquired at birth not by applying for anything. So technically all DRC dual nationality players are DRC citizens to start with. FIFA also recognizes citizenship by descent.

Now in a country like DRC, the executive government which enforces the law, is meant to revoke Congolese citizenship for dual citizens that don't voluntarily drop their foreign citizenship after 21. Now, If the DRC federal government does not revoke it, the citizenship is still valid. it is not an automatic loss.

DRC deliberately doesn't revoke citizenship anymore because they don't want to. A moratorium was passed in 2007 to put revocations permanently on hold pending review of their constitution.

In the West, especially in Europe, when you try to show individual extraordinary talent or skill, you'll be accused of not being a good team player or being rude and disrespectful to your colleagues.

I have to agree here. Our B team drew against Russia. Russia!!

Osimhen and Lookman (in top form o) in that game would have made it 2-1 in our favor for sure.

Another long epistle of more gaslighting, I like how you're trying so hard to tilt this whole conversation into another Northern players stigmatization agenda while still overlooking (perhaps intentionally) the MAIN ISSUES being addressed here. You're the one with a wicked agenda but I'll not play ball to your ethnic baiting cause it's just going to be a cul-de-sac of pointless arguments and rhetorics that will be another dead end.

Ok lets even agree for the sake of conceding to your stats that Usman Mohammed plays regular minutes at his club, what exactly are his best qualities? I'll assume you know this particular player so well to vouch for him, what are the key attributes and qualities of Usman Mohammed in his club in recent years that makes his call up justified? please tell us a notable growth index per his player development trajectory since his U23 Olympics stint? or are you still mesmerized by his solo goal against Atlético de Madrid years ago in that friendly? Pls tell us one good reason (devoid of your ethnic gaslighting and angling) why Usman deserved to be selected ahead of a Sani Suleiman who is younger, more exciting and has a far promising trajectory? I don't want to mention the baffling selection conundrum of a 31 year old player at the tail-end of his career who is stuck in the lower rungs of Isreal over younger prospects who should be displacing the older players?

The Tochukwu Nnadi you keep bringing up isn't my favorite player and I doubt anybody would have cared or noticed much if he was dropped or not, but at least he's very young - still 22 and playing at a far better league with more learning curves for growth as a player, so your comparison is rather baseless even if it was for ethnic ramblings.

Bros, you can choose to live in whatever bubble you create for yourself, but the indelible and incontrovertible truth will always be said. There's no gainsaying in calling out the obvious footprints of NFF corruption, and that has continued to destroy the fabric of our football...Chelle from reliable evidence didn't pick most of the players in that list and that's a very dangerous precedence- when a coach can't pick his own team because some higher-ups have to call the shot for reasons best known to them.

I wish all and sundry the best, hope Usman proves me wrong and serves me humble pies.
Press his neck!!

Your deflection tacticts is legendary i swear, you surreptiously tried every thing you could to ignore the evidences i showed you just from few days ago, I have seen worst on this thread if you search backwards. Where people are Calling northerners names on several occasion blaming them for national teams failures. You chose to ignore that. Baba you are a big hypocrite and i will die on this hill.
First can you first admit that you gave a false info by saying he is in div 2 and rarely plays? And You are not agreeing with me that he plays regularly for the sake of conceeding. Its 100 FACT. ADMIT YOUR ERRORS.

Again, I have not justified the inclusion of Usman anywhere, I am just curious that of the 28 man list, only the northerners are singled out for condemnation, backed up by the call to divide Nigeria and the federal character rubbish, and this has been a regular pattern here. shey you no see that one abi? Nonsense.
I am not a northerner and I love the inclusion of Tochukwu Nnadi and other new faces, there are 28 players there, in previus AFCONs its 23. Addition of 5 other players to give them the chance is commendable. Emmanuel Emenike was 27 during the AFCON that he helped us won, he was moving accross the backwaters of Europe before Keshi gave him the chance. Likewise Sunday Mba who was about the same age playing in NPFL before Keshi picked him. Marcos Senna made his debut for spain at 29 and won the Euros the only tournament he played for spain at 32. So spare me the age card, emotional blackmail, its trash.

At least this arguement will sensor the quick urge of people here to stop profiling players based on their tribe or region, but clearly on merit. Every Nigerian player deserve a chance, its not the exclusive right of anyone. Udo

To those of you ignoring DR Congo obvious breach of their Constitutional law pertaining FIFA clearance. Ask yourself how come FIFA an organization that usually take over 1 year to clear west African players were able to clear 6 Congolese players in few Months. It happened simply because there was a breach of their own Constitutional law. A player like Victor moses and Ademola lookman weren’t cleared to play for Nigeria in over 2 years and Nigeria has a Dual-citizenship Law in effect. I do not care whether NFF is an inept organization or super eagles aren’t in form. The law is the law and anyone that breaks the law should be penalized for it. Otherwise, it fails to become the law
