Most folks in crypto today were drawn in by the massive alt season of late 2020 to 2021. Thinking the next 4years which is 2025 here would bring forth same experiences.

There was no alt season in 2017/2018. The nxt alt season might be in 2029. After every 8years grin

One low-key truth many traders still miss: there was never a “BTC cycle” to begin with. What people call cycles was simply BTC growing without a solid foundation, while halving did most of the heavy lifting.

Now the game has changed. More participants, deeper liquidity, smarter money. BTC is gradually breaking free from the 4-year cycle illusion.

Think of it like this: two people, one yam each. Today, everybody eats well. Tomorrow, supply drops—one yam for the same two people. Next time? Half. Then quarter 😂

At some point, it’s no longer about the yam existing…
It’s about who gets it.

That’s exactly where BTC is right now.
People are fighting for the coins — the coins are no longer fighting for relevance.

I wouldn't say many would be better off without crypto, cos I know many folks close to me that are doing great in life trading BeTc, I would say we all would be better off and doing great without 'Alt' coins!

Another thing I sensed is that, the more information we put out about the market online, we are feeding them on how to deal with us. Hence, creation of likes of Binance feeds/discover...

If u win, u are lucky, if u go again; u are at high risk of loosing it all.

To corroborate this, there’s never been an individual that regrets buying and hodling bttc. So I completely agree,
Secondly, weather we give out information or not, every transaction is recorded on blockchain, so any method or strategy is exposed the moment you click buy/sell..
Lastly, I believe institutions adoption/interest, launchpads proliferation and trump launching a memecoin ruined alt season.

BTC is a gift to anyone who has found the roadmap and follows it like a robot — without emotional interference while factoring in black swan (unexpected dump of 50% or more in a week) and purple swan (unexpected pump of 50% or more in a week).

If you can follow the cycle, respect and ignore every single distraction — FOMC meeting, news, narratives, and noise in between — you will never regret it.

The problem is never Bitcoin, manipulation or market makers. The problem zero roadmap, lack of emotional control and distraction.

Nigerians should avoid crypto because we're desperate people by default. But if you refuse, build a system, backtest and forward-test it, and if it's 80% profitable, follow it like a robot and avoid all distractions from every single gurus on social media.

Don't forget, those preaching hopium, when things go south for them and their prediction fail, they have an excuse to give, but your money is gone, except it's BTC or top 5.

Those of us preaching bear market, when things go against us, we also have an excuse to give, but your money is intact even though you missed a trade.

Protection of your money is actually victory because what goes up must come down in a black swan and there'll be at least 20 black swans from now till 2140, when we'll have our last halving.

Sometimes, no trade is the best trade.

My greatest regret is discovering Purple Top late. If I had known it, I would've perfectly shorted at 124-126k.

Unlike other years, this year BTC cycle failed to make a full pump (not enough reason for anyone to end the year on a negative balance). If BTC fail to fall below 80k in coming weeks (healthy correction) 4get about BTC full pump nxt year.
