Private Depot Owners Slash Petrol Price from ₦828 to ₦710 per Litre (₦118 Cut) After Dangote Refinery Reduction

source
The sad fact is that transporters would not reduce the cost of transportation, they will now blame it on those selling spare parts...

Damgote is frustrated because the government is not banning fuel import. If the government ban import as advise by damgote we would have been buying fuel 1500 by now.

All you want is a corrupt government support and give them kick back for every litre.

But unfortunately the current government is still in the business. Oando is importing and bought refinery oversea and now planing to build local one.

The oil business is too big to be given ve to one man.
A governments job is to regulate. It’s easier to regulate one major producer/marketer than several.
In a normal Nigeria, the government would expose how much it sells crude to dangote, inform Nigerians about standardized global refining rates (which is about $5 per barrel) and give a reasonable estimate of the cost of logistics/profit mark up so Nigerians would expect a capped price range.

Dangote is not the problem, I’m not his fan, but on this issue our failed government is. We hate transparency with satanic passion.

Lol. Dangote will be seething with rage right now
It's obvious he's manipulating the market with the intent to price the importers out of the market but those ones have already outsmarted him
He's a greedy as they are and they are ready to match him greed for greed . If not can anyone explain to me what shifted that made Dangote drop price from over N800 to less than N700?
It shows he was also robbing Nigerians until he heard of the import licenses and decided to crash the market. We've been buying fuel at 950 for over 3 months!!
Your papa for build one dey sell quality fuel for 100naira

Very annoying country. There lies the root of our problems. Bottom - top
What you just said is what the people don't want to hear. The problem has always been from the bottom. As usual accountability is far from the people

Now we are talking. It's getting better. But I hope it doesn't go back after the festivities.

I'm not a Tinubu fan, but he did well removing subsidy. Our pms will eventually be one of the cheapest globally.

I hope transporters will comply... You'll see how greedy men can be. Prices of commodities should come down more.
Prices of commodity won't come down. Why? It is because the people are even wicked than the politicians they condemn everyday

gives a huge lucrative business to one man you are making the man. Bigger than a state. Do you know what is oil business? Nigeria economy is centered around oil. Anyone who controls that for 10years can decide who becomes president and who becomes anybody in this country.

but when price rises, the same conductor will immediately effect prices shocked, only when price falls that you will remember this your logic shocked. We are our own problem in this country, we always have a reason to continue in wickedness and greed, even if all expenses become zero, an average Nigerian will still exhibit greed embarassed

this should be the work of the NURTW. But their greed from the National seat in Abuja by MC Oluomo will not allow them. Imagine the volume of unclean money they are making everyday.

President Tinubu is backing the marketers and also dictating some what to Dangote otherwise the price should have crashed to N400 with PMS for Crude in Dangote refinery or special FG partnership with Dangote.

What you're experiencing has nothing to do with low quality fuel

If you're having peppery eyes while driving your car, your exhaust is leaking and your fuel would drain faster.. Take it to a panel beater
If you don't know of stinking petrol then you may be too young to remember years ago when all the fuel stations were stinking, cars smelling from bad fuel that damaged lots of engines. Imagine that I toped my tank with 15l so it got diluted with previous fuel and it smelt so bad, engine ran rough, what if I had bought full tank.
Anyway I let my tank get completely empty before buying again, now the bad smell is gone, so in that case will you say I have emissions leak?
Oga nothing you want to tell me about automobiles, I have used all sorts since I started driving 1989 till date from all sorts of fuel scarcity from ibb time to abacha when we as students were professionals in sucking fuel from tanks, kegs, drums et with hoses, when you know bad or rotten fuel not just by fumes but taste too when some enter your belle sotay you belch.

Bros the business and investment risk Dangote took is way past all those other ones. Respect to the likes of Bovas who was there for us through thick and thin but we have to move forward and Dangote has done well in that regard.
It shows he was also robbing Nigerians until he heard of the import licenses and decided to crash the market. We've been buying fuel at 950 for over 3 months!!
Dangote did well and took a major risk investing that much in the refinery. He isn't on the level of marketers. They cannot defeat him in the long-term.
