Children's names and the alleged Secondary Schools they attended in Switzerland (each for approximately 6 years):

- Ashraf Farouk: Institut Le Rosey
- Farhana Farouk: La Garenne International School

Alleged Costs Released:
- Total for secondary education (tuition, upkeep, air tickets, etc.): Over $5 million for four children.

When President Tinubu ordered the withdrawal of police escorts from VIPs, he made a blanket announcement: all police attached to VIPs were to return to duty immediately. He did not single out Peter Obi or Atiku. That is how rules are supposed to work in a serious country, general, neutral, and universal.

My point is simple: when you make a rule, it must apply to everyone, not only to your rival or antagonist.

If Dangote truly wants to fight corruption, let him sponsor a bill in the Nigerian Senate mandating that all public officials educate their children in Nigerian schools. That would be a structural, systemic reform, and I would support him without hesitation.

But using corruption allegations selectively to win a personal or commercial battle with Farouk Ahmed is not reform. Nigerians are not naïve. We know corruption exists. What we are looking for is a credible, principled anti-corruption fight, not a weaponized narrative deployed when business interests collide.

Real reform targets systems, not just enemies.

I was responding to the comment that he should set up a sting operation like Otedola. The same Farouk Lawan was granted pardon recently, wasn't he the same one? I don't mean it's this person Dangote is calling out. Meanwhile, Dangote and Otedola are friends. I'm sure Dangote has thought it through before doing this. You get to an age in life when there's nothing to lose. I think that's the stage Dangote is in. He's been in the system for long, he knows their language.

You Nigerian are always blind to the truth. Dangote can never fight you if you are not stopping him from monopolizing the oil and gas. The man is a regulator of the oil and gas, why pick him. There are other people who are more corrupt than this man in this country. Picking him means, he is not agreeing to Alhaji ways of doing things and dangote want to remove him from the office.
And if you think Dangote is helping Nigerians by reducing fuel prices you are wrong oooo. As he will reduce the quality and make even more profit by selling at lower price because he cannot sell it outside Nigeria and Nigerians don't care about the quality of petrol.

You don't understand what Dangote is doing. He wants to be the sole producer and seller of petrolatum products. He is angry with this fellow who happens to be his kinsman for issuing several import license to fuel importers for Q1- 2026.
Whereas there is demand gap between Dangote Refinery production and actual consumption. Besides their is no competitive pricing because no competition in the market. He recently took government to court over license given to fuel importers. He wants to destroy the man's career and have him removed from the position. He is not doing this nonsense because he loves Nigerians.
