I doubt it very much you experienced that era
Babangida era was better by all indices.

In 1991, minimum wage was was double to N250 a month. Then 50k was the price of a wrap of eba or a piece of meat. That could buy you 500 wraps of eba, which would be about N50,000 today. The last time it was increased was in 1981 when it was fixed at 125.

However, the Naira fell from around $1- N11 in early 1991 to around N20 at the black market by early April 1992. The following year, 1993, it fell again to N37.5.

The day he stepped aside, I was around CMS, by that building that has Tantalizers. I asked a Hausa exchange trader the rate and he told me N37.5.

Inflation during Babangida's time was crazy. They resorted to Ways and Means to finance the budget. All they knew how to do was loot.

All these are just the result of entrenched corruption in the police force. The police has not given any particular reason to ban tinted glass. The only legit reason for a ban would be security, but then, it makes no sense that criminals are allowed to pay and use tinted glass for thier criminal activities. Simply ban anything tinted.

Your submissions are 100% correct and I agree with you. What I'm saying is that everything you mentioned up there is worse today than babangida era. How do you explain the geometric increase in fuel price, exchange rate, food inflation, insecurity, brazen corruption, wanton borrowing and unbridled taxation to death? I would gladly choose the military era economy over what we have today

The man handling my car papers, told me that tinted permit is 100k, which I paid, but I haven't gotten the permit yet though.
Something that took me 72 hours to apply and get mine

All done at the comfort of my room by myself

2850 for VIN verification
14250 for the tinted permit itself
Virtual verification no hassle of going to state police command to queue.

I was guiding others on how to do theirs freely
It was sent to my mail, I printed it

There is nothing like VIN verification under tinted permit. And you cannot complete it in your house. You have to go for capture

dreamwords:
just pay your permit and tint your glass
Absurd. They will invalidate your permit in 2 or 3 years to keep generating income.

If it was factor-fitted tint, you have done give away. Mine cost about 20k. I also assisted 3 people in doing theirs.

I am telling you outrightly it's not worse now than Babangida era, Babangida, first Buhari tenure and Abacha were the real dark seasons of Nigeria

I didn't outrightly mean our current leaders are far better but obviously the world itself is generally better with better tech, better food, better transport etc

You can drop WhatsApp let me message you
First go to www.possap.gov.ng register your details then login with it to proceed

Calling you on phone for guidance might be better, as there's places you will encounter difficulties

Make sure your image quality of files to upload is at medium and below 2MB

You need strong network for it if you doing virtual verification capturing which is what I did

Midnight might be okay for you if network isn't strong in your area

Hello sir, good afternoon sir. Sir, I'm already on it, but I'm stuck regarding where it was stated that I should provide "reason for inquiry"

One option says "medical and another says "security" and another says "factory fitted"

I'm yet to tint my vehicle, I just want to get the tinted permit first, to avoid police problems.

Please sir, my WhatsApp number Is 07071014356
