Yes, quite alright. He wasn't bad and he wasn't his best. His pattern of game is confusing to his fellow players.
offensively; na wahala.
defensively; average.
I expected the coach to try the Blackburn guy in his place.
Ryan, the Blackburn guy, is good as a RWB and mostly on the offensive. But as a full back, i will still sort of pick osayi above him. Nff should have gone for femi seriki. who is more defensively composed.

They should have added guys like onaiwu, otele, agba & akinsola to bring in fresh breadth of competition to the team.

Good game.

I liked the little I saw of Fago. Defence just needs to work on reaction time
The whole team needs to work on reaction time.

What are you even saying

If I were Egyptian I'd be screaming my heads off for being pegged back in our half and struggling to string passesi
Clint02:
Ok. You can say we are doing the job of "preventing them from scoring ", well.

The negativity on this thread fit give person malaria. At times make person just ignore. The first half yes was shaky but that second half the eagles dominated play and would have scored goals but for the bus parking by the Egyptians

Which rule did they break, after getting hammered from 1-120 minutes, having a clear penalty denied, a goal disallowed and beating SE on penalties they want to reap where they did not sow. They should focus on Afcon and the 2030 WC
Hold on for FIFA before talking about injustice or backdoor.

It is clear you didn't watch the game. They completed more passes than us.

At times it is the in-game emotions.

I immediately restarted the 2nd half stream after the match ended and was able to see more clearly.

It's exactly how many think we played atrociously at the last AFCON

I like Nnadi's presence in the midfield.

Good addition, Ogbu was solid as well. I thought we'd have a glimpse of what Ryan has to offer.

I’m not a babe and nobody is pained. I’m a registered SE supporter and fan and I will always be. But I don’t do mass narrative.

Making comments here is not pushing for or against anything cause FIFA doesn’t use anybody’s comments to make decisions.

If you check all my comments here since 2020 or so 90% is positively inclined. So don’t come making snide comments cause I don’t agree with y’all on something. Argue the point and don’t talk nonsense or take offense.
you can state your points without sounding malignant. I have read your statements here and it oozes pain. You can actually make constructive criticism you know than making nff look like they are fools pushing for what they feel will be good for them. Whoever wins so be it but making it look that Nigeria is going through world cup through the back door for something that favours them doesn't make any sense . Hope you understand ?

Seriously questioning Chelle's ability as a coach. Too many poor decisions in terms of assigning roles to his players. Does he even watch these players in their club sides?

By the way, what exactly is he inviting Dessers for? That guy offers nothing.

Why don't we park bus as well against these teams and stop conceding? My rantings are not fueled by my assessment of this friendly alone, but of our previous games too. This is a tournament we are going into and the team has to be critiqued wherever they are failing.

It is expected that by now, they should be battle ready. But I don't like what I'm seeing from them. Or maybe the second team has not tuned into the battle mood?

So we are talking about tonight’s game don’t bring your emotions from the previous games into this one, this is a warm up game for the team as they head into Afcon. When the tournament proper starts then you can restart your emotions again especially if the team starts playing poorly but for this game tonight minus your emotions from the previous games there were more positives as the eagles stamped more of their authority in the second half

It's injustice for SE to sneak in through the backdoor at the expense the more deserving DR Congo. It's as simple as that
Have you written FIFA on behalf of Congo? If you haven't but just choose to rant over here, then you are doing a great disservice to Congo also.

This back door narrative is one of the most insulting things I have ever seen. Just too emotional driven without intelligence

People can now see the importance of Iwobi. Intensity without creativity will lead you into the bush grin
Nonsense. The midfield today was a lot more organized than what Iwobi brings. Iwobi just can't control a midfield, simple. He makes good passes once in a while but that's where it ends. He can hardly withstand a press, make a tackle or take on players successfully to create chances.

I'm comfortable with an Nnadi, Onyedika and Akinsanmiro/ Bashiru midfield. Let's take Iwobi back to the wings to compete with Ejuke and co.

Chief I only disagreed with the validity of the NFF protest. That’s all. I didn’t say that NFF are fools na.

Problem is that some people just see dissenting comments and they’re offended.

I haven’t mentioned NFF or said anything about them.

Egypt was actually shockingly poor. On top of that, their coach adopted a defensive approach when DR Congo has already proven that the best way to beat the Super Eagles is by attacking them.

They won't go far unless Salah will work his magic consistently every game.

Nwanne we don't deserve to go to the world cup. Congo showed hunger, and they have a better team and better players. Congo beat us hands down in the pitch, so FIFA should let them go. Naija should try again in 2030.

Bahiru is better AM than Iwobi 100million times! Wait till AFCON proper you will see the guy in serious action. This is just a friendly. Everybody dey avoid leg.
