Very well and thoughtfully written I must say and I agree with much you have said.

However I will contest the idea that SA has more black dollar millionaires. I doubt it very much.
I have never come across any rankings of dollar millionaires that put Nigeria above South Africa, but most rankings put Nigeria above South Africa in dollar billionaires rankings. And in any South African ( which I think concerns most Nigerians, always go and find out what percentage of the SA list are black and pit that number against yours,SA will always be the winner in millionaire status but Nigeria will bear us merciless in the dollar billionaire status.

I think this will explain the reasons behind this phenomenon more clearly;

Nigeria produces more billionaires because wealth is concentrated at the top. South Africa produces more Black millionaires because wealth is more evenly spread across a larger segment of the population.

South Africa has a more visible and substantial Black middle class, which grows steadily into millionaires.

Nigeria, many entrepreneurs may have significant influence or success, but it’s either informal or tied to a few massive deals, creating billionaires but fewer formal millionaires.

South Africa has had a longer history of formalized wealth accumulation among Black South Africans post-apartheid, partly due to policies like Black Economic Empowerment (BEE), access to property, and developed financial institutions.

Nigeria’s history and politics, corruption, and instability have limited wealth accumulation to fewer individuals at the very top.

South Africa: More developed financial markets, property markets, and formal sectors where wealth can grow steadily. Investments in stocks, businesses, and real estate allow more people to become millionaires.

Nigeria: Informal economy is huge, and while some people strike it rich in oil, trade, or tech, many people’s wealth isn’t fully captured in formal “millionaire” stats.

The last words in bold give you the real answer. Records are not our strength in this matter but I can tell you for free that NG has FAR many more dollar millionaires than black SA.

Have you ever been to Nigeria?

What's funny is that we are not surprised. We could have told you for free that this is normal Trump, 100%.

You should embrace it actually.
cheesy

I’m not surprised at all that he can bring himself to dance on people’s graves. He has never given me the impression that he is well brought up or even civilized.

Actually, First Registrars. But I'm not basing my opinion on her alone, nor is it my claim that everyone doesn't work hard in Nigeria.

I worked at my uncle's sawmill in my teens, and I and his own children slaved for our dinner. I also worked for myself and wouldn't say I was lazy. And Nigerians who worked for me in my early days in UK found the pace rather hard going.

I was home ten years ago and struggled to get workers for my farm despite paying double the going rate. People would rather go sit outside Kami, the state rep's, house and collect than come work for me.

Fact is, a nation where many go night vigils instead of resting at night can not be as productive as where most get a good nights sleep. And if we can't clean our streets or generate constant electricity, we are either not hardworking or unknowledgeable.

But all that's anecdotal. Check were we are on a productivity by country list and tell me we are as productive as some.

Even our Gross national income is not to boast about.

It's important to have participated in both economies to get a sense of these things. I have been to SA many times and also worked out of SA in terms of regional African work for multinationals.

🚨BREAKING: This is why Ilhan Omar never faced charges for marrying her brother!
Back in 2021, hours after Minnesota GOP operative Anton Lazarro posted online DNA evidence that allegedly showed Rep. Ilhan Omar was once married to her brother, the FBI busted him!
Lazzaro was trying to contact the FBI and media, and had launched a website, to share his claims about Ilhan Omar shortly before his arrest on sex trafficking charges.

He alleged he obtained a DNA sample from a discarded cigarette and drinking straw used by Omar and her ex-husband (whom Lazzaro claimed was her brother) to "prove

The test results stated there is a 99.999998% chance that Omar and her second husband, Ahmed Elmi, now her ex-husband, are siblings, according to an analysis by British company Endeavor DNA Laboratories.

Lazzaro was scheduled to appear on Tucker Carlson's Fox News program to reveal his "bombshell evidence" on the same day he was arrested in August 2021.

In March 2023, a federal jury found him guilty of seven counts involving commercial sex acts with five girls, ages 15 and 16, in 2020. He got 22 years in jail

Media has really buried this Ilhan Omar marriage to her brother.

I don't have to be personally in Nigeria to actually participate and get a feel of how the economy functions and benefits people though,as I'm not an informal trader ,that's the beauty of trade and experience in working for multinationals or government institutions that track and monitor progress across the continent.....someone else can be my eyes and ears where i cannot reach . But I get what you're saying though.

Developing country, it's a process that will take time.
Not arguing that. We are currently very behind though. And I think its because we are so blessed (or perhaps our feeding is subsidised).

I used to sit on my balcony on Enoma reading while watching (some) people walk up and down Ago Palace Road every day and I'd wonder where some of them got their daily bread. I could see right into the oloshohouse opposite though, and watch the 'resident' hustle day and night.

Tax (and subsidy removal) is what government is using to increase productivity. We are going to groan big when they take more and more of our earnings so we'd need to hustle more to meet ends.

I'm avoiding the South African comparison, but the above rings true. My sister would leave Ikotun at 5am to get to Eric Moore by 7 or not get there till after 10, and that's not part of work but would definitely drain her considerably.
I understand the bolded .

Exactly and people across the continent mistake that stress for hardwork. Whereas what others call hardwork is what brings about positive outcomes . Suffering isn't hardwork . But hey💁‍♀️....we have a lot of unlearning to do on this continent, but it seems a lot more are reluctant to change and pace-up.

Regarding the destruction if narco terrorists PA Senator Democrat Fetterman has sharply contradicted the democrats out to get Hegseth scalp.

Live on air, Sen. John Fetterman blew up one of the biggest myths about Trump’s Venezuela strikes after getting a private intelligence briefing, flatly rejecting the claim that the U.S. military is “randomly” attacking boats. Asked by Chris Cuomo what reassured him we’re not sliding into a wider war, Fetterman said the briefing was “pretty comprehensive” and slammed media narratives suggesting the military is “just picking off…any boat that comes across,” saying “that’s just not true.” He explained there’s “extensive intelligence,” that officials “know exactly who’s on that boat and they know what’s actually on that boat,” and added that “quite frequently they decline to take it and move on.” When action does happen, he said, it’s because they have “absolute confidence in who’s on and what’s on it,” stressing again, “they’re not just going around randomly shooting boats.”

Most democrats are shameless liars. A comment on Facebook..

This is exactly how the Democrats and republicans once operated, they agreed on many aspects, and had no problem showing support across the isle, had different ideas on policies, and one seemed to be more geared toward a certain type of government and the other had a bit different take …, but now the democrats strayed from law and government into extreme evil wickedness that should never be in government…

This is your best piece yet.

Lionessza6:
Please stop broadcasting your ignorance about a country you claim you're a citizen of.Protests mean very different things in different countries.

In Nigeria, they rarely lead to lasting change, so many see them as high-risk with little reward.

In South Africa, it’s different. Protests, even when loud or disruptive, often lead to talks, policy changes, or legal action. They’re not chaos....they’re part of how our democracy works.
Why? Strong institutions
Powerful labor unions
Active student movements
Civic organizations that hold power accountable.

A legal system that allows court challenges after protests.Protests keep leaders on their toes. When governance fails, we mobilize quickly and demand action. That’s why delivering results isn’t just good politics....it’s survival.

Our histories shape how we see activism. What some call desperation, we call political participation that gets results.Protest here isn’t a threat....it’s how we make the system work.

2. Firstly, let me clarify something: Boers do not own 70% of South Africa’s landmass; that figure refers specifically to commercial agricultural land. This is a colonial residue, much like our old infrastructure and economic framework. Such systems are not undone impulsively; they are phased out deliberately and responsibly to avoid economic collapse.

Most of South Africa’s land remains under traditional authorities and is untitled, which is precisely why land reform was not the most urgent priority compared to housing, services, and economic transformation.

The land question has returned to the spotlight largely because of high urban unemployment and the recognition of agriculture as a potential large-scale employer. In addition, South Africa now has access to diversified global markets, including Asia, rather than being overwhelmingly dependent on European markets that historically had little incentive to support meaningful land reform.

Reform must therefore be strategic, economically sound, and sovereign. We are under no obligation to rush complex structural changes or to accept pressure framed as ‘African solidarity’ when it risks economic self-harm. We are not Zimbos. We don't seek to be validated by envious Pan-Africanists as " non cowards " and "lovers of blackness ". We accept that we were thrown into the deep end and we have so many structural reforms inherited from apartheid that we have to overcome. But we will never self-harm to please the continent that secretly and openly coverts our position. Or self-harm to spite white SA when we will end up being the biggest losers at the end because we have no Europe* to pick us up when we are down like they have. Just like Black Americans we are on our own in cases like this because our own cousins occupy even weaker positions than we on the global hierarchy of political and economic relevance unlike the white people in our respective countries who have a much more successful continental home to back them. Both whites are an extension of that and we are an extention of the weak positions of Africa. But that is too deep for a feeble mind like yours to comprehend .

MTG moved on because Trump will not support her Senate run

I dont know what is confusing for you? Because you support someone does that mean you support everything they do?

You support Democrats, do you also support men in women's bathroom or gender reassignment for minors?

I support the Republican party but I do not support their stand on abortion. I wonder why that is difficult for you to understand

I think I read somewhere Epstein inviting Elon Musk to his island, an offer that was declined. It naturally means there are probably people who went to the island not to abuse girls but to unwind in an unremarkable island.
This list of visitors is likely fraudulent to a part, it has been around for several years, apparently derived from flight logs to the adjacent island. Those who virulently attack Trump are well represented .

Stacey Abrams non profit Rewiring Homes 2023 "Vitalizing de Soto" project . About 116 homes in the Georgia program. The funding was privately raised.
Residents got a free energy audit and their choice of one or more of the following new electric, energy-efficient upgrades:
_An HVAC heat pump
_A heat pump water heater
_An induction range/stove
Additionally, homes underwent weatherization to seal doors and windows and improve insulation, further enhancing energy efficiency. About 75% of the 116 homes in the community participated and received these upgrades.

Program successful. One resident halves her power bill.

So Staceys other affiliate non Profit Powering Forward Communities goes to EPA and lands a $2 Billion funding to replicate the project in April 2024. By the time Trump comes to power ,EPA has not disbursed over $20 billion ,they hide the money in a private bank and hope to dole out as much as they can before the evil Trump closes the taps

Turns out that Stacey Abrams who despite denying influencing the $2B funding actually received some $5 million .This Power Forward outfit was a conduit for money to other non profits paying off huge salaries and expenses.

https://freebeacon.com/democrats/stacey-abramss-climate-group-banked-5m-in-taxpayer-funds-before-trump-admin-axed-the-grant-tax-docs-show/

Since when did govt get into the business of buying electrical appliances to residents months to an election?
Another reason why I call climate change a scam. To skim off money and micromanage the serfs.

It gets better.
When Trump DOGE cancels the funds ,Judge Chutkan orders that EPA be allowed to disburse those climate funds in March 2025. A federal appeals court overruled her in September 2025.

Judge Chutkan is the one who was dying to prosecute Trump weeks to election and only stopped the trial after Trump won, putting the case on hold until he leaves office. This is despite Jack Smith appointment as Special Counsel being declared void and his cases in Florida terminated permanently.

For years the United States operated as a “reverse Empire,” using its military to enrich foreign nations and foreign peoples, sacrificing our wealth, security and sovereignty for the sole benefit and advancement of those beyond our borders.

All we got in return were migrants.

No more.

America’s might will secure America’s rights. America’s military will defend America’s destiny. For Americans, first and always.
