Thanks to Ahmed Musa for the 2 goals against Iceland in 2018, although he should have retired a long time ago. Like 5 years ago. Ndidi. Iwobi. Semi Ajayi . Simon Moses. Awaziem. And a few others should please retire from the national team after this Afcon 2025.

He always flatters to deceive. I've said it: once you are tall like Onuachu and Tolu, otilor for you. I will never select you.
I will prefer Tolu more than Onuachu, he always does this before tournaments, I will not be deceived again

Why is no one talking about Ahmed Musa's retirement? 👀

To be honest, I think he was one of our better wingers in his prime. Pacy, tricky and clinical. He might have overstayed his welcome, but he'll be remembered fondly.
18 goals and 15 assists in almost 120 games is horrible for a winger but in Nigeria we consider him a legend

why not?….Osimhen style of play will 100% fix into the 90s super eagles team…only Osimhen go bench Yekini for that squad…infact Osimhen and yekini will drag starting 11 with Yekini….three things separating VO9 and Yekini is
1. Afcon trophy
2. World cup appearance
3. Highest goal scorer
Current super eagles team is really letting Osimhen down…

regarding him coming late to camp, he should be sanctioned abeg, cos even when we had excellent players if they do anyhow dem go face sanctions
Yekini became prolific in front of goal during the latter stage of his career

Yekini would hv reached over 50 national team goals if he was lethal in front of goal during the early stage of his national team career

not a fan of both but to me Onuachu is better. Onuachu’s hold up play is only bettered by Osimhen in the national team, also he can dribble and pass as well

sad Serious African countries are already laying the groundwork for the future, we may not win Afcon for a very long time

We did eventually. Whether expedited or not, it's an internal affair

Lookman and every person who has one Nigerian grandparent (think Ashley Plumptre) are citizens of Nigeria. Why didn't we just hand them passports and viola feature them?

What promising move did Onyedika kill with back passes? You folks will just say anything with no actual evidence. Since when does recycling possession and switching plays relate to killing promising moves?

This is exactly how Mikel Obi was also criticized by most of u as a backpasser coz u lack understanding of midfield plays.

He played rubbish yet our midfield transited the ball better than we saw in most of the WC qualifiers. Onyedika was at the metronomic center of our ball flow in the middle in that first 45 but because he was not flashy, he played rubbish.

Na why u no fit land coaching job for even Tonga. Eyes u no get.

It depends cus the Akin I saw play few times in Serie A this season didn’t impress nor convince me enough.

If we are blessed with more quality options in the midfield department Akin needs to do more than he has done in Italy to get a sniff of the national team
