I'm currently watching the Arab Cup final between Jordan and Morocco. Crazy goal by Morocco scored all the way from their half in the 4th minute. See intensity and drive from both the Moroccans and Jordans.

Can never be Super Chickens. Here we will be foolishly jogging and strolling like there's nothing at stake. Playing absolutely frustrating rubbish to the point where you want to snatch out your hair.
They are not super chickens. Our players aren't just as good as we rate them. You can't give what you don't have.

There are two Countries I want Nigeria to Face in AFCON knockout round is
DR Congo and South Africa . Even if these guys don’t win the tournament. Beating those two aforementioned teams will be sweeter than qualifying for the World Cup.
I bet you guy, if that DRC team catch this our team 5 times, they would beat us five times.

But it ended 1-1 apiece and had to be settled via penalties which could have gone either way

But then the truth is that our players folded. I don't know why. Its not the defeat that hurts me, its the panic I saw in my team that wounded me. There is something I saw in their eyes that made me sad. It was the same thing during the last Afcon final. I cant say that they gave up. It was more than that. They were afraid and Congo sensed it and began to play them like kids. our players became small. They lost their ginger, they lost their swagger. At 1-1 ooo. What if it was 2-0 like Falcons. Remember our match against SA when they first scored us. We fought back but this one, they just collapsed. Its awful. That thing needs to be addressed.

But for that fear, I don't think Congo will beat us again if we meet them.

The individuals that are asking how was DR Congo able to field Dual-nationals in the past like bakambu. Always remember this quote “everyday is for the thief and one day is for the owner” An individual might had stolen 1000x and remained Uncaught. When he is finally apprehended, that doesn’t mean that his previous stolen activities was legal. Additionally, I would like to see what Caf has to say about this because if those DR Congo players play during AFCON, it means that CAF has deemed them eligible and if DR Congo fails to play them, there’s an admission of guilt

This squad needs therapy.

We used to be a team that struggled against minnows because of overconfidence and walloped big teams because people would tend to write us off before the match. Now we can't even match these big teams anymore.

Cheating is Cheating. Gift Orban a talented player that’s very much in form and hasn’t played for Togo or Nigeria senior team wasn’t called because Nigeria decided not to cheat the system/Fifa eligibility rules and use him. Do you think Nigeria cannot afford to send FIFA a Nigerian passport on behalf of orban? Some people are saying that Nigeria are going through the back door? Actually, it’s Congo Dr that went through the back door by intentionally sending FIFA fictitious documents to ensure players are eligible. FIFA article clearly stipulates that Obtaining a national passport isn’t enough means

The Super Eagles of Nigeria will qualify for 2026 FIFA Men's World Cup.

2025, is Nigeria Football Year.
It's December, the draws have been made. The 2026 World Cup is set. Qualified nations are preparing to grace the Mundial.

Then,

Guess what? The biggest black nation - Nigeria at the moment are technically not World Cup bound.

However, despite wobbling and stumbling through the qualifiers, fate and destiny seems to be smiling at the Super Eagle. A glimpse of hope beams on an entire nation once again.

Will 2025 be the biggest year of Nigeria Football history? Only time will tell.

All hands crossed as we all await FIFA verdict on this matter.

Also, one thing is CERTAIN. INTERNATIONAL FOOTBALL WILL NO LONGER BE THE SAME after this fiasco.

For those who continue to underrate the Nigeria and Nigerians

No matter how we tend to play down the importance of Nigeria in the global stage of football, it's a force to be reckon with as the whole sporting world eyes turn to Nigeria - A true Giant of Africa.

I am responding in general to the individuals that assume that Nigerians are the ones trying to use back door. I used Gift Orba, a player that’s very much inform and could had made a significant difference vs Congo. But, Nigeria decided to not cheat the system by not sending FIFA a Nigerian passport on behalf of orban. I believe that NFF are inept, super eagles players are totally Out of Form. However, Cheating is Cheating and if DR Congo cheated the system, they deserve punishment and absolutely no remorse. At worse, a rematch between the two nations without involving those ineligible players can be the judgement. At best, whatever is written on FIFA judgement Table should be used

Scariest part is that this is probably Morocco team B/C.

I no sabi ball. But then again, you don't need to be a pundit to see that our current squad (going off their qualifying run) will struggle against any of the two teams playing the Arab Cup final right now.

If you have a counterargument, then you can present it. Your terse, infantile, needlessly combative retort here helps neither of us.

God bless you for this the LAW.

I noticed the pattern of guilt in the eagles game for some time now, they begin to cower when they are under pressure, from their look you would see the spirit is down which a very observant opponent like the DRC used against them.

They seem to be afraid of losing which they eventually does anyway. I hope they can revive their mentality to a higher degree like the one displayed by the FALCONS during the WAFCON that made them triumph in front of a hostile host nation despite being two goals down.

Morocco losing to Jordan 2-1 in the 80th minute. They might not win the Arab Cup.

I'm curious, have the Morocco senior men's team won any major trophy during this golden generation of theirs? Because that will be rather unfortunate?

Na why I talk say dem go paste us over and over again because our boys dey scared of them. At a point we were even praying for the referee to end the match abruptly and award the 3 points to the DRC just to put us out of that misery.

We still have the same team and mentality so there won't be any difference if DRC catch us today bro.

To be clear, the major thrust of NFF's petition is that DR Congo FA knowingly withheld relevant information (lying by omission) and misled FIFA into clearing those players. Spot and know the difference.
Thats the key thing people are not noting. There is a portion in the nationality switch form where it was stated if they have dual nationality and if it denounciation is required. If these players fail to state it clearly, its deception

This is where you need your experienced players to step up and lead the rest of the team. Instead it’s even a player like Bassey you see trying to start attacking from the defence while players like ndidi, Simon, Chuks and Iwobi will go to sleep. But for Bassey bravery our wcq game against SA away would have been a loss.

make Una no dey talk like this. Tournament football and Qualifiers are two different scenarios. A team you will beat 10 goals to Nil in the qualifiers...you will meet the same team in a tournament and struggle to score one goal. Our boys will come good in this tournament..that I don't have a doubt about.

Please, I want Chelle to admit that Ndidi is on the decline and take him out after the hour mark.He can't be playing the whole 90, when we have quality players on the bench.

Fisayo,Nnadi or Onyedika can finish the game.
Even Akin, if played in his most effective role, will be able to hold his own.
Start 2 strikers, to take some attention off Osimhen.

We have never performed well with bean-pole strikers. We saw this with Simy and same with Onuachu.

Salim Fago needs more time.
