I own a laptop shop in Aba at shopping center precisely.

So it happened that I swapped a laptop with someone, and he balanced me money and also added a Chromebook laptop, while I gave him a higher laptop with higher specs and gen.

So due to that I don't usually sell Chromebook laptop, I posted it on Facebook marketplace in order to see a buyer faster.
Shortly a guy who goes by the name Emmanuel mustapha contacted me that he was interested to purchase the laptop

So I gave him my WhatsApp number, he texted me on WhatsApp and we finally concluded that I would send the laptop to him today, that when he sees it, then he will pay.
So fast forward today, I warebilled the laptop to ph, while warebilling it, I instructed the driver, that this guy haven't paid me any dime, that he shouldn't release the laptop to him without confirming from me whether I have received his payment, the driver agreed with me.

So 3 hours later i called the driver if he have arrived at ph , he said yes, that he would soon call the guy to start coming
The guy wasted time to come to the place the driver was supposed to stay and wait for him, so the driver left and kept the laptop with the caretakers and forgot to instruct them what I told him earlier on

So the guy later came and paid the warebill money and took the laptop with him, since then he is not replying to my messages on WhatsApp or even taking my calls, I suspected that he has even blocked me
Please help me and call him, please I need the money or the laptop back, I don't know what else to do

Calm down bro...He is not dumb as u made mentioned of....the driver was foolish and if the guy should take necessary step, the driver will be held responsible for the laptop.....there is a lot of pay on delivery going on daily...just pray u don't fall in to the wrong hands...

make a report at the nearest police station. No 47 naad estates, 2234 port Harcourt, Nigeria: got this online about him. Most likely his address. If you can get his picture, post it everywhere. Make him popular. He will reachout to you himself for quick settlement.

Hold the driver responsible too.

Don't mind the people calling you bad names because you sent laptop before receiving payment. Most online businesses are payment after delivery which is normal if you are to do online business in Nigeria today.
However, hold the driver responsible, he is the one that is at fault for releasing your laptop to other people to deliver for him instead of delivering it by himself. Report him to police and let him be charged for conspiracy or as an accomplice to the thief.

Thank God it's a Chromebook laptop, I believe it's not too expensive. It's the driver that caused it, that handed it over to another person without giving him the instructions. It's the driver you are supposed to hold responsible
