But then the truth is that our players folded. I don't know why. Its not the defeat that hurts me, its the panic I saw in my team that wounded me. There is something I saw in their eyes that made me sad. It was the same thing during the last Afcon final. I cant say that they gave up. It was more than that. They were afraid and Congo sensed it and began to play them like kids. our players became small. They lost their ginger, they lost their swagger. At 1-1 ooo. What if it was 2-0 like Falcons. Remember our match against SA when they first scored us. We fought back but this one, they just collapsed. Its awful. That thing needs to be addressed.

But for that fear, I don't think Congo will beat us again if we meet them.

Honestly speaking this might be the most handsome set of guys to play for the national team. These players look more like, fashion icons rappers and Hollywood celebrities than actual soccer ⚽️ players. Bring back the rugged and rough looking street boys hahaha. Rooting for super eagles as we match into the Afcon 2025 tournament
