Someone brought these two animals to us this morning. I offered to buy them at 30k, but he insisted on 35k. Though after much talk, he collected 32k.

Anything that looks like rat, i dont eat it.

It's a Cane rat, which one be "grass cutter" again, Nigerians and nonsense local names
On another note it actually looks like porcupine cos the image isn't clear enough

And even if it's a local name what's wrong in that? Because it's local name then it's nonsense?

If you know what you are doing you will know it can't be a porcupine because of the shape of the mouth and porcupines are popular for having spikes. And somewhat roundish.

Even if the picture isn't clear it doesn't look anything like a porcupine!

Igbo Nchi or osi

Hausa Afin.
