Very useless set of people. Ikeja Electric is a national embarrassment. It is an unfortunate disgrace. It is a quintessential monumental failure. Hisses. |

Consumers rights are not respected in Nigeria because enforces don't do their jobs. Look at the outcome of this one when they did their job, very easy |

MilesMaxwell:I honestly thought I was the only one noticing this. Power supply has dropped drastically, and it’s becoming unbearable. Since this week, we haven’t even had up to 6 hours of electricity in a whole day. It comes briefly, disappears, comes back for a short while, and then goes off again. Sometimes you don’t even know whether to switch appliances on or just forget about it entirely. What makes it more annoying is the government’s incompetence in handling the power sector. They are very quick to increase electricity tariffs, and push everyone into Band A without their consent, but extremely slow or completely unwilling to provide stable power. We keep paying more for darkness. Businesses are suffering. People working from home aren't findet funny cos the heat this period is unbearable. Yet, the same government will come out and tell us to be patient. Patient for how long? You can’t keep increasing tariffs when supply is getting worse. that’s exploitation. If they can’t guarantee reasonable power supply, the least they can do is stop piling extra costs on citizens who are already overwhelmed. Electricity is not a luxury, it’s a necessity which every reasonable government should provide for its citizens. |

sirblend:As in eh! Their own definition of being a Nigerian is to agree with whatever Tinubu dishes out to us whether good or bad. And knowing Tinubu he obviously doesn't have any good policy for us. Today if you see the way I was sweating, you'll pity me. I worked throughout the day without light. Just the heat coming out of my laptop along with the hot weather. It's this evening I put on my Gen. And they've moved us to band A. Yet we're paying more than triple for darkness. |
