Lilith and the Myth of Adam’s First Wife: What History and Scripture Really Say

Claims that Lilith was the first wife of Adam have circulated widely in religious discussions, popular culture, and on social media. However, historical and scriptural accounts show that this narrative is not found in the Bible and does not form part of orthodox Christian teaching.
According to biblical scripture, particularly the Book of Genesis, Adam’s wife is identified as Eve, who was created from Adam’s rib as a companion suitable for him. There is no mention of Lilith as Adam’s wife anywhere in the canonical books of the Bible.
The idea of Lilith as Adam’s first wife instead originates from Jewish folklore and mystical traditions, most notably a medieval text known as the Alphabet of Ben-Sira. In this legend, Lilith is described as being created at the same time and from the same earth as Adam. The story claims that conflict arose between them because Lilith refused to submit to Adam, leading her to leave him.
Scholars note that the Alphabet of Ben-Sira dates back several centuries after the biblical texts were written and is considered a work of folklore and satire rather than sacred scripture. As such, its contents are not regarded as historical fact or divinely inspired revelation within Judaism or Christianity.
In Christian theology, the Lilith narrative holds no canonical authority and is viewed as an extra-biblical myth that developed over time through oral tradition, cultural interpretation, and mystical speculation. Church teachings consistently affirm Eve as the first and only wife of Adam, in line with the Genesis account.
While the figure of Lilith has become symbolic in literature and modern interpretations—often representing themes of independence or rebellion—religious historians emphasize the importance of distinguishing between folklore and scripture. The widespread claim that Lilith was Adam’s first wife, they argue, reflects later myth-making rather than biblical history.

It’s crazy how so many Christians bought into that story just to flex their intelligence, while ironically showing a lot of ignorance in the process.

I’ve seen lot of Christians narrate the story of Lilith to sound more knowledgeable. There are lot of things christians believe that we’re not recorded in the Bible.

I don't think such people are Christians. They are not even qualified to be called churchgoers

There a lot of things you do not know about Christianity and the Creation Story.

One of them is that; Yahweh (Enlil) did not create man from the dust. He created a man and a woman on the same day through IVF implanted into the womb of his step sister called Ninmah.

This was done by harvesting the ovaries of the female Apemen (Homo Erectus) they met on Earth when they came to colonize the Earth Planet, and then fertilize the ovaries with the sperm of Enki (whom they later called Lucifer for trying to save the Homo Sapiens i.e we the human beings they created from the Homo Erectus).

They now implanted the zygotes into the womb of their step sister called Ninmah, and she gave birth to the first Adam.

To duplicate Adam and Eve, they created another sets of zygotes and implanted them into the womb of Ninmah’s female workers (medical corps) who volunteered.

Now listen to this, to create a female homo sapien, they harvested ovaries from their people and fertilized it with a male Apemen (Homo Erectus) sperm and then implanted it into the womb of Ninti (Enki’s Spouse) and she gave birth via Caesarean Section to Tiamat (The first female Homo Sapien also called Lilith).

In conclusion, just know that all the stories you read in the Bible or Quran were borrowed & edited from the Sumerian.

Read this book:

https://www.bibliotecapleyades.net/sitchin/sitchinbooks_enki.htm

and you’ll be enlightened. You’ll find the original creation story in Chapter 14.

Everything you have ever been told or read since your inception are lies. Lies designed to keep the Homo Sapiens from knowing their true history and capabilities.

Same way night complement morning, and breathing in complement breathing out.
It's balanced this waycry
All these was before you people cheated.

And unfortunately for you women, you were the first to cheat. And God has a thing for the first whether good or bad.
