Vaginal delivery of fetal macrosomia is not always advisable,mostly in a fetus weighing 4.5kg in a diabetic mother and 5kg in a non diabetic mother.
I strongly believe that she died of hemorrhage from cervical tear complicated by eclampsia.
The woman may likely have had an eclamptic seizures which was not well managed, which is common in women with pregnancy induced hypertension. She may have well developed gestational diabetes which was not properly checked or monitored during antenatal care routine investigations.
The story is one sided, let's wait for the hospitals side of the story.

All these MDCN and Ministry dey, but di case show say the system weak from doctor wey dey give wrong advice, to no oxygen, to ambulance wey no even start, jedi jedi until person die.

Any thing about lekki is fake house, food, lifestyle, water, environment, hospital, school etc it's not a place for human being

Nigerian doctors should stop taking unnecessary risk or trying to be prove skill. This is 2025. Somethings just have to let go.

A fetus weighing 4.2kg should have open a serious discussion for elective CS. And even if they opt for vaginal delivery, they should have anticipated post partum hemorrhage as a complication and set up a PPH protocol in the labour ward in case she start to bleed.

We don't know the side of the doctor but naija women sometimes are verse to CS except if emergency. This is 2025, no big deal with CS, get it done and move on.

May her soul rest well with the Lord. Those found culpable of negligence should be punished.
