Don't mind the Agulu con artist. He has bought votes in the past with cash and by giving out slippers.
Next time, he will give out Gala and Malt drink.

Re: Obi: Reps Protected A Broken System By Not Criminalising Vote-Buying by dettolgel: 8:04am On Dec 22, 2025
Did he say that he should be exempt from vote buying?

If vote buying is criminalized will PO be exempted by law?

I really don't understand how your response fit into his statement. No wonder foreigner universities are insisting that Nigerian graduates should provide proof of English proficiency grin

Peter Obi will never become the President of Nigeria no matter his wailing and crying. Even the blind and the deaf know this fact.

Nobody has ever won the Presidency through lies, propaganda & tribalism.
If buhari listened to you, he would have died not being able to destroy nigeria the way he did before he died. I spit on his grave

How does he buying vote in the past makes it okay for our politicians not to criminalized vote buying during primary elections ?

I don't know how vote buying in the primary election of a party should be the headache of our reps. if we already agreed that how a party candidates emerges is none of anyone's business.

I saw this coming, and this is where many of you get it wrong.

At the expense of your welfare as a Nigerian, you deteriorate matters to become PO vs APC/Tinubu and all that.

You put aside the seriousness of the situation.

Whether or not Obi is guilty of vote buying (he likely is, every Nigerian politician is), vote buying should be criminalized! And, with very heavy punishments.

Don't you see that these people are playing with your future? Don't you see they sell our future on every election day? Are you satisfied with the current state of things in this country?

Leave your personal worries about PO. IS THE ISSUE HE HAS RAISED VALID OR NOT?

In fact, I ask you directly, should vote buying be criminalized or not? Should those that sell their votes and those that buy them be thrown to the deepest spot in the worst Nigerian jail or not?

Leave PO in this matter. Look at the issue raised.

Are you not surprised that vote buying wasn't criminalized? I was!

Is there any sense in the decision of those mad people in the HOR? Absolutely not!
You dey preach give Gbadorian amulukeke?

You get strength o..

The job of the Nigerian politician is to maintain the broken system for his benefit while the data boys who will never amount to more than the same politicians kid's hypemen applaud the theft of their collective destinies. We will never have sense in this country when Obi will be attacked for truth.
Weyrey, Obi is a politician. Know this and know good life.

Why on God's earth was vote buying not criminalized?

Why was the death penalty not accepted for convicted terrorists?

Many of these so-called leaders in this country are just MAD!!!

They will always kick against what doesn't favor them. Let one of them dare to propose a bill that introduces instant public execution for corrupt officials and see how they will kick so hard against it.

Vote buying happens in different guises across the world it's not a crime , you have the freedom of Choice, if I have a pen and you need it for an exam I can give it to you for free or for a fee ,if you make me an offer I cant refuse will sell to you .

Do you know in the usa delegates lobby for different projects for their communities, unfortunately in nigeria we have reduced it to just money ,money money .

This is more like politicking than vote buying. Vote buying is for personal gain unlike community gain.

You are still coming to ,you point ,vote buying in Africa should be tied to community development, a delegate is representing a larger caucus and money is not the only relevant thing that should be exchanged for votes .

I will take the silence is golden rule as I don't have time to waste. Same you that believed everything Nnamdi Kanu said n call him a prophet but refused to believe when he said Obi is gaybriel with one Alhaji in the north.

If it's placed on your palm, you still won't see it.
