That was how one of my course mate I wasn't close to added me to a group and want me to buy her Aso Ebi worth about 50k for money wey I no get.

You cannot be fresh out of NYSC and selling 30-50k aso ebi to your friends. They will sew, accessorize, do makeup, transport themselves to the location and still spray you 10k. It is too much for those young girls, please.

Remember that guy who spent something like 30k on his wedding. Bring chairs from your house, 1 crate of drinks, some jollof rice, your Bluetooth speaker and some music, your funny friend as MC and you are good to go.

Some aso-ebi is now 200k to 1m and above. Just to look glam but totally uncomfortable within those hours of celebration?? Some can't even move. Some can't wear the dress again because of the PTSD it gave them that day, while some can't because they just have this funny rule of never rocking it again after that day. Wasted!!

We might be back to the era where 500k is total budget for a wedding covering everything for bride and groom.

It's not about economy. People have been buying and will continue to but asoabi. It's about her personality

If you are not earning at least 500k in today's Nigeria, but you go about buying people's asoebi you need prayers. Your village people hold you strong.
