Well, I'm happy someone gets it.

The thing about having conversations or debates is that sometimes, people jump into conclusions or assumptions about other people's intentions or positions. If you check my post history, except someone is saying blatant rubbish to me or wants to be a troll, I'm very agreeable on a lot of things and would rather not drag out issues.

The other day, I noted weaknesses and flaws with the Super Eagles, they turned it into me glazing Morocco and calling them unbeatable.

I don't have to D-ride Nigeria all the time to show loyalty.

Nigeria is a footballing powerhouse. That's a fact.
We have natural talent, largely unrivaled in the continent. That's a fact.
Our league is poor. That's a fact.
We're not effectively developing the talents we have. That's a fact.
We don't have enough FIFA approved stadiums. That's a fact.
Other countries are catching up with us on the international stage. That's a fact.
We can still improve. That's a fact.

Can Nigeria host the AFCON? Not until things start working properly and we build confidence with FIFA. Sadly, our administrators aren't taking sports as seriously as we'd hope.

What makes me laugh though is that some people here would rather bait-and-switch and fight strawmen instead of actually understanding the core of my argument.

For example, shamelessly arguing and lying that I'm discrediting Nigeria's football legacy and achievements when I never did that anywhere.

Or claiming that I said Cameroon is better than Nigeria, which is far from what I actually said. But of course it's easy to attack strawmen when the actual point is difficult to understand.

It's easy to misinterpret what I'm saying and make it seem like I'm just being irrational when I'm just expressing reasoned skepticism in the capacity of our administrators based on their antecedents.

These people make it seem like you're wishing the downfall of the country when you're only talking from a place of concern.

The issue is beyond talk for me. My only prayer is that we stop latching on to how good things were before and we enjoy a new era in Nigerian football that will even be ten times better than it was back then.
There’s only one place where you’re wrong we have tournament 🏟 ready stadiums but not sure tournaments ready pitches…

If you have English league 2 and below you’ll see the stadium’s are mostly 1 story size range but the pitch is Heaven on earth so perfect and green

You can’t tell me those stadiums are ok to play fa cup and carling cups but ours isn’t

Our problem is our stadiums are worn out just a little facelift and natural grass instead of using 2010 3g/4g Astro turf

If we wanna use Astro turf let it be 6g at least

First thing you notice when you enter a stadium is the pitch as long as the pitch is green nothing concern anybody

We they right settings we’re more than capable of hosting next afcon

Are you ready to see Nigeria make huge budget of billions to host Afcon when lots of Nigerians are struggling economically? cos na complain Una go complain again
I honestly dont know how to reply you boss, no need self, me and you already know the truth. unless we wan dey lie....

Also, there is no ever a time when millions of people are not suffering in Nigeria, no time ever, so that excuse wont fly....

As of right now, as a footballing nation, i mean this very minute, the only stadium we can present is Akpabio's stadium. South Africa will bring nothing less than 8. Bros, forget matter.

My go-to formation is one Chelle will never employ in the tactical manner I have analysed and imagined it. It borrows some defensive solidity from Jpes' Afcon2023's 3-4-3 (something the core of the team is used to) and also adds that attacking verve by employing expansive and breaking-lines approaches inspired by Bielsa which interestingly we have the profiles for.

It is 3-1-3-3/3-4-2-1 variant.

For Plan B, it depends on the opponent's shapes, if they go 4231 for instance, I might tactically mirror that or use a 442 due its better pressing power.
If they go 442, I will use a 433 (midfield numericap superiority) or 343 (3v2 against their CFs).

So plan B will be dependent on what the opponents present and on if we are chasing a game or in control and wanna just close shop for good.

chrisooblog:
A hat trick here with a brace there I feel it's possible.

Why I'm bullish is because unlike JP's haram football from last AFCON, Eric plays more expansive and creates wey more chances per game.

Plus I think we have more creativity compared to last time.

Chukwueze looks like he's hitting that sweet spot as a player so I expect big things from him.

I'm hoping all our wingers turn up bigly.

What's your go to formation Doc for the competition and plan B if we want to switch things up?

adding the FIFA arab cup doesn’t make sense for comparison seeing as we literally cant participate in that tournament.
even if it will not hold water using this tournament to compare, it will be recorded that they conquered a fifa tournament…thats why i said it further make them looking like stamping their authority in all competitions

Hosting tournaments depends if it’s a priority for the host or if they win a hosting bid. As for stadiums folks have said it repeatedly here that it doesn’t take much time to get as many stadiums ready especially when you’ve hosted before. Your problem is you just want to slam the country inability to host after a long time as a monumental failure and you’re entitled to that as your personal opinion, simple.

CAF can currently discontinue the afcon in morocco and tell SA to continue with it…they wont even need to touch any stadium 🤣🤣 sharp sharp tournament don continue…..but make CAF just suddenly say Nigeria oya oo come and continue the afcon, we have banned morocco…confusion go enter NFF glass house people…..

What’s remaining now is to blame nff for all the bad pitches across the nation. I think that agenda will fly properly 😂

Many here are confused and don’t even know whose responsibility it is to maintain infrastructure across the country maybe we will put the blame on coaches too. I just see all manner of confusion here some don’t even know where politics, sports and regional politics mix when it comes to football. They think it’s a one way street. You’ve not hosted the Afcon so what?

There it is — full wicked village people mode activated. The moment you start celebrating strangers just to spite your own, you’ve officially graduated with honours from the School of Village Witchcraft. Because you didn’t make it out, now you’re ready to sprinkle ancestral pepper on anyone else who tries. Don’t worry, we truly don’t care; your ‘payback’ has the same power as a village curse thrown at someone already living in the city — absolutely none.
Spare me all these sermons ok. Let your supporters exhibit some restraints in their conducts then you can bring on the sermon.
Are you aware the chances of your team participating in the next FIFA World Cup qualifiers are still handing in the balance?
Let me laugh in the way that pleases village people.

Bafana Bafana whenever opponents is possession they triple mark the player and you get confused.

When in possession, their back 4 is your safe heaven especially when confused with the ball or left without options. You return the ball to the back.

Angola will suffer today.
