As per Afcon, Nigeria is an immersive team, I don’t know when Africa will learn to not underrate a tournament Nigeria team.

Tournament Nigeria team is always another beast, because it’s not 2 days training they are using to come at you, it’s days/weeks of training, tomorrow game might not be all that, but then see from that second game, una go see beast…

Nigeria will win this Afcon.
We will be lucky to make it to the semis with the tepid display we have been seeing through out the year.

This is a funny assertion you've made because I'm one of the very few people here - if not the only person - who correctly predicted that Nigeria would lose to DR Congo by virtue of that ill-thought decision they took in Rabat when they were supposed to be focused on the game. And jt was clueless people like you who camped in my mentions claiming that the low match fitness would have no impact on our performance. One of you even infamously argued that Nigeria thrives when there is chaos. So the DR Congo loss did nothing to me. If it seriously affected you, then accept my condolences. I saw it coming from a mile away. The reality is that I call things as I see it. You and your bandwagon only look for excuses to explain why things are not as bad as they seem. That's all you do because you're victims of the Stockholm Syndrome.

why is it now a crime to feel bad over the world cup loss and translating it to the reason why we are losing our fearful status in africa?….bro missing back to back world cup is a rude awakening shock to soccer loving Nigerians and should be a huge reason to even start to rant about our growth, stop doing as if we all should be fine missing the mundial back to back …we jah for round 16 of afcon 2021 months later stil couldn’t qualify for the 2022 fifa world cup, our hope was raised at afcon 2024 getting to the final boom only for us to miss another world cup with some side side poor results from u20,u17,u23…bro its enough to call out NFF to sit up and not make us laughing stock amongs all this yeye small nations

im a strong super eagles fan, but the administration is making our super eagles suffer

Sometimes I read @Bossoflife's posts here and just laugh. The pattern is always the same - quoting others without adding substantive analysis of his own. It's all borrowed credibility with no original argument. This thread has genuine tactical knowledge - people who can actually break down what's happening on the pitch. But ask this same crowd to apply that same analytical rigor to anything outside the football pitch, and the wheels come off pretty quickly.

God forbid anyone criticizes Nigerian football. All it takes is a few flashes of brilliance - like our last AFCON finals achievement - to deceive people into thinking everything is fine and rosy with our football and NFF administration. The only bright side here is that the NFF will do everything within their power to make sure Nigeria wins this tournament. Not because of football bragging rights, but because they need to secure re-election next year.

Baba. no be say you talk but I talk the same thing after that DR Congo gane. Lookman is probably the only Super Eagles forward that drops into the half-spaces between the midfield and attack, and carries the ball forward. He brings dynamism to our play and should be starting ahead of other forwards as the second striker.

This was my post after the DR Congo game.
Only Lookman?
This is not true.

Samuel Chukwueze and Chidera Ejuke does more defensively among our wingers.
There is absolutely no need to twist facts.

we should be able to get this result, if we serious….i see us as the first team to score more than 2goals in a match…lets just ignite that form against Benin and the extra time form against Gabon…we suppose flog Tanzania…..just that our results against teams like Uganda,Tanzania etc are usually cagey….under Oliseh, it was a 0-0 in dar es salam, return leg under Rohr it was a had fought Iheanacho outside box18 volley to beat them 1-0 in that inconsequential afconQ match

Take note of how Goke7 has quickly adopted the laughable role of the NL armchair psychologist. According to him, it's because of the World Cup loss that's why we're pointing out things that should be glaringly obvious to people who don't suffer from severe eye defects. They know they are bereft of any undeniable points and so the only thing they can do is claim the moral high ground and insist that you're overreacting or being irrational. It's textbook gaslighting.

Game day!

Praying for a very positive and emphatic start.

Tanzanians will most likely be defensive and rely on the odd counter so we have to be at our absolute sharpest.

Optimistic of a solid win.

Let's go Super Eagles. cool

Tanzania will greet us with a 4-5-1 or 6-3-1. Unlocking them early and scoring on time will kill this game easily. Else, it will be another Comoros situation and we may not get more than 2 goals at best.
