We are not the only team thst has failed to qualify for Afcon. My points is that Minnows dont beat Super Eagles in AFcon and knock the out, even medium teams like Burkina, Gabon, Guinea, Mali, Angola ETC, havent really k ocked us out.

No mind them, NFF is rubbish , but football is about time and chance, all these African teams we are hailing, there is nothing spectacular about them.
So infrastructure, youth development, and competent administration are irrelevant because... time and chance?

Did they knock us out, we have already 6 points then and qualified. We later reached semifinal and narrowly lost to Algeria the eventual champions who beat Senegal wey most of una de like overhype. In that same tournament, Benin comot Morroco for R16, SouthAfrican knocked out Egypt the host also in the R16, nextvyear the same Egypt reach Final with almost the same team. If na we be host and lost in the R16, out ear go don full.

That's the problem with that country. These people think in dichotomies I.E True/False or Right/Wrong. Nuance is non-existent in these people's discourse.

These Moroccans spent a lot of money on just one stadium to give themselves a positive image. All the other stadiums are simply average! Even the Ivorians have better multiple stadium than this!

Every team loses, and yes, having quality players committed to the national team is crucial. But what do you think facilitates that commitment? Good federations. Good federations pay salaries on time. They provide proper training camps. They treat players professionally, and build trust and rapport among them. Morocco's players aren't actually more patriotic than ours. Their federation just doesn't give them at least one reason per month to withdraw from call-ups or boycott competitions.

@Bankygee.. My man, this your app you recommended na fire. But it's been lagging lately.

Did you update it? I had to start managing fawanews
Yeah, it's from their server, I updated it and it's still same. So I just go to settings and choose the 0.35Mbps and 0.70Mbps qualities, it won't lag again but it'll be blurry for most parts of the match.

Talent is important but it has to coexist with solid infrastructure to get the maximum results. China threw billions at infrastructure but they had no genuine grassroots culture or competitive domestic leagues. It was a government mandate to make China a football superpower. Unfortunately they lacked football culture. Plus, they bought foreign players for their league instead of developing Chinese talent properly. Money without proper football culture fails.

Nigeria has what China lacks: raw talent. Football DNA. But we're actively wasting these existing potential through mismanagement. Morocco has a decent talent pool, so building a football ecosystem is not going to be cumbersome. Their natural talent may not be as good as ours but at least their federations don't sabotage them with unpaid bonuses and chaotic administration. Infrastructure combined with our natural talent is a winning formula we're squandering. We don't need to build football culture from scratch. We just need to stop destroying what we already have. If you feel everything is okay as it is, that's your prerogative. But stop making people feel like they are stupid or emotional for wanting more from their football administrators. Especially when we know it's not an insurmountable task in the first place.

Super Eagles have always been a footballing powerhouse. But nothing lasts forever. It's very difficult to see the cracks now, but mismanagement isn't something that causes a structure to crumble in a second. It will take years. When a structure is not sustainable, it's only a matter of time before it becomes collapses in on itself. Leeds United used to be major team in the English League. Today, we don't even count them in the top 10 teams. Counting them in the top 30 might even be a stretch. That's how it starts. Constant neglect and self-deceit that all is well until everything begins to crumble and you start asking yourself what went wrong, blind to the obvious signs that should have corrected your decisions ages ago.

RSA attack no dey send where you dey play. Very good in transitioning. Only agile defenders can put them in check (Like Federick). As a defender omo you need to be very focused against them if not you'll concede in a shameful way grin
