What a save from Tanzania GK. Chuks should have buried that
He was looking for a stylish goal when the keeper was on the ground

I have never understood the Iwobi slander. He's the only one on the team pushing passes forward. I keep saying have Ndidi and Onyedika behind him, let him just play passes.
it’s all born out of hate and agenda to push their fave

Ask yourself why every super eagles coach pick him not only to make the team but to start no matter how bad his form may be

We have completely dominated the game from kick off....but we need to do better....
Tanzania look dangerous anytime we give them the chance to launch an attack....

Chuks should do better chai
Chuks did the right thing by taking it. Osimhen (King of Off-side) was off-side.

Sunday Olisey said the tanzanians have been playing very well, and i wondered whether he would have said that if he was a tanzanian?

Iwobi has been immersive in this game.

Played really well, if osimhen Chuks and ademola should raise their games, final balls, position need to improve..

In all Nigeria totally outplayed Tanzania, should be 3 goals up.

He should have made up his mind way earlier before their defence regrouped, he could have also passed too instead of wasting time

Thank you for the shout out. Using style to watch. 😃

We are doing okay. Especially with the way our defense keep possession. However, I feel our play is direct when moving from the defense to attack. Not much work is going on in the middle.

If Chelle can get the midfield to transition the possessive play of the defense to the Middle and keep it longer, we can cause problems.

My First half thoughts.

- The defence was passive after we scored, a bigger team may capitalise.
- Iwobi, Lookman and Chukwueze has been impressive in transition.
- We need to find replacements for Osayi-Samuel, Zaidu and Ndidi. We can win any reasonable match with these 3 starting.

- Osihmen and Akor needs to step up their finishing, I watched the SA and the Egypt game, they finished better, this will be the difference in the later stages of the competition.

Chuks should have either shot early or passed to Adams.

Osimhen was offsides.

Good half from the SE to be honest. We should have had at least 1-2 more goals. I'm hoping we can kill the game by the 60th minute so we can run out some subs and try different looks in a low stakes environment.

Senegal vs Botswana ended 0-0 after first half. I predicted we'll beat Tanzania 2-0 but if we maintain the pressure, I can even see us surpassing Senegal 's goal count tonight.

We are playing Chukwueze, Lookman and Iwobi yet. We dont have anyone hugging the wings. All our crossings in transition into the box has come from Osayi and Zaidu both who are not just good enough. This will be a long tournament for us.

That Chukwueze goal could have gone in if not for that defender that came from nowhere to block the ball.

Nice but from the few minutes I watched, I think our final passes are over hit and forces our forwards to battle with the control to get goals.

I hope the reduce the weight of their passes a bit and trust the qualities of our forwards to deliver the goods.

Generally, good play and promising start.

The middle is still our weakness link we just have to manage with what we have

The team has actually continued to improve under Chelle.
I see them also improving as the tournament progresses.
