I eat both on a regular day. Nothing special. You see that chance to hangout with friends and family? That na the real spirit of Christmas. You get the option only three times yearly. I can enter any fast food joint for jollof rice.

Jollof rice is better because we already know the taste of Rice and Stew during normal day we know steady so at least let me taste the Lagos jollof rice through out that day may God protect us

Me, na white rice and "ofe-akwu", with goat meat and chicken andfreshly plucked "nchanwu" leaves from the backyard garden. The akwu/banga must be the original one from my village to bring out the real taste and colour of "ofe-akwu"⁹

On Christmas day, I'm doing Pounded Yam and Ẹfọ Ẹlẹgunsi For my household. Later in the day, we do Potato Chips, Ketchup and Proteins, something light. Then on Boxing Day, it's going to be Jollof Rice. No White Rice on my menu, too ordinary.

Just give me Ofada stew full of assorted without Tin or seed tomatoes and I'll do anything for you.

Normal Normal na rice and stew win the occasion, but recently, I prefer fried rice. But on Christmas day I only eat salad and chicken, wash it down with either beer or red wine.
If I wan even eat na pounded yam with either Egusi or Black soup I dey eat.
