You’ve got to understand that there’s no specific one answer to that question of how much you intend to spend. How much you intend will depend on your saving s or available bank balance, your expenses, lifestyle and circumstance. It has to make sense and more importantly financial sense
The reason I ask is to get a reasonable amount because I have seen on this forum when someone was refused on the grand that 1300pounce for 7days visit is too small, and also I have seen a person has also be refused on the grand that his budget is too high .

A tax clearance is good but not mandatory for a uk visitor visa, especially when the company is not trading in large volumes. However it may help in establishing that your company is genuine and tax compliant. Every other doc you mentioned will help your application
Thanks for the reply.

One more question, personal account statement or company account for business visa?

One more question, personal account statement or company account for business visa?
Do you have travel history to a first world nation?
Have you obtained a business visa for another country before now? Preferably A to B list country.
Hope your business and your financials are in excellent economic states?
If the answer to any of the above is no or I am not sure, abort mission.
They feel you can do a virtual meeting and must not travel to the UK. Things have changed a lot now.

But context matters na.
Budget depends on what it covers
If someone else covers accommodation, feeding and travel cost then your personal costs would be less.

If you're baring accommodation and deeding costs yourself because you booked hotel the your costs would be more than the example above.

If you're traveling with children then more

Then waaht part of the uk are you going. Further south close to London is way more expensive for rent , and travel annd tourism.
Further up is cheaper.

Lastly and most importantly how much of your persobal income are you spending on this trip. Iof you put an amount that is 3x of what you earn monthly (that you provided eveidence for) then it is not reasonable that you can afford the cost you put.

Wat city in d UK are you going to first of all.... That is wat will determine ur basic traveling allowance... Another thing to consider is taking a 1 year old child into winter season,, UKVI might see that differently,, unless you are planning to go after winter

Students visa is different from general visit visas ooo.... Students deposit a minimum of 20,000-25,000 pounds equivalent in naira depending on many factors...
Pls don't use students route to find out how to go about visit route to avoid complications

I want to invite my Aunty to my graduation in January, I'm sponsoring her, how much do I need to have as pof?
Also, she' s saparated from her husband for years and now she wants to do international passport, her NIN bears her maiden name, does she have to answer her husband's name in her international passport? She is applying as a married woman because there no official divorce letter or document. Meanwhile she has kids bearing her husband's name which would be included in the application for hometies. Can she do a passport with her maiden name and still claim married?
She has to use her husband's name... I have a cousin in UK whose Mom neva married her dad,, but wen to came for her mom to visit UK,,they had to get d mom's documents in my cousin's dad's name... UKVI Don't joke with marital stuffs on visa oo

Hello house please can someone assist me with the right answer.

I already have 2 years UK visa and I have actually traveled to all the countries in UK but this time, I’d want to apply for my kids so that they spend their Easter vacation in London.

I’ll sponsor the vacation. I want to know if I’m to write their sponsorship letter together in one page and include their names and passport detials or I’ll write it per child.

Moreso, will their applications be applied separately or together? Kindly assist me with the answer because I’d want to apply for the visa earlier now for them to enable us prepare for the vacation on time By God’s Grace, Amen.

I just got a 6 months visit visa for myself, wife and 3 kids. These are my observations with respect to the process.

1. You can write one sponsorship letter and give the details of all the persons you want to sponsor and the amount per person

2. Applications are filled and submitted seperately for each child

3. Minimum time for application for a visit visa is 90 days or less to your date of travel

House may wish to correct me where i am wrong

Of course she can use her maiden name. She should use the name on her NIN for her international passport, she doesn't have to do a change of name especially for a man she is separated from. She can claim married and just upload the marriage certificate while maintaining her maiden name, having children together doesn't matter.

Answers in your quote above. Question for you. Are you an agent? Coz your travel scenario keeps changing every 2 days based on the questions you ask on this platform.

@ Darkshades God will bless you

Actually,I am not a visa agent,my question may be too much because I don't want my family of three to be refused,as they say failure to plan is plan to failed.besides we are applying by February ending next year for Easter vacation, you can see there no time to waste.

1) Please, lastly do you write budget analysis in ur application form,if yes,how did you write it in each person application form?

2) You and ur family have you travel together to other country before?

3) how many days is ur visit?

4) Did you book hotel reservations for your visa application and is how many pounds?

Just book an hotel for the duration of your stay and you’re good to go. One last thing make sure there are no contradictions in any information you may have provided earlier in your last application. AI will catch you

Goodmrn all the gurus in the house.Pls I need your assistance.Am filling the Ukvi application form.Am at the immigration history session.

Pls I have 3 previous refusals.
Aside the recent refusal,I already declared the 2 others to sch.I was interviewed since last yr.cant remember everything but I remember telling the sch abt financial instability as one of the reasons for my previous refusal which made them to demand for my financial evidence before issuing CAS.
Pls do I need to state the reasons? If yes,pls which reasons shld I state.

(1)U.S.A. May 2014.
(2)Canada,May 2018.
(3)France tourist visa,Sept 2025.Reason:
(i) The visa officer said the purpose of my visit is not clear.
(ii) He is not sure I'll leave the Schengen area when my visa expires .Shld I write all these?

Pls should I start from the recent to old or old t recent?
Secondly, shld I state the type of visa in all as I did in France?
Since the sch is already aware and interviewed me rigorously B4 issuing CAS,will declaring these refusals to ukvi affect my application?
Pls any better and convincing way to put the reasons

Am out of cash somehow, but shld I borrow and use the priority service(extra €500) as sch resumes 15th of Jan 2026? Won't the Ukvi see it as desperation to travel?
@all,Pls help

Put this on UK student thread.
Declare your refusals, the order doesn't matter. If you read the form well you'll see where it indicates number of yrs...eg have you been issued or denied visa in the last XY yrs

Hi Good evening
I am a Medical Dr, looking to write the plab 2 exams in April 2026, I've been working in my current place of employment and would be about 3 months by February. With a no objection letter from employer would it be feasible to apply for a visa by February for April and fees sponsored by parents

MsAnonymous:
This same platform has adviced against applying with Business account. Because business money is not personal money to be used for travel. The advice that has been given here is to pay yourself a salary from your business acct to your personal acct and apply using the personal acct. So why is the goal post always shifting?
that doesn't mean he/she was applying with the business account obviously the applicant would have specified which of the accounts was funding the trip. Adding the business account helps the VO to track the source of salary payments.
