Pastor Chris Okafor Demands DNA Test Amid Viral Paternity Allegations

The Senior Pastor of Grace Nation Liberation City, Pastor Dr. Chris Okafor, has formally demanded a DNA test following renewed claims circulating on social media that a young woman, identified as Chi Okafor, is his biological daughter.

The allegations, which gained widespread attention after being amplified by social media commentator Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), have triggered intense online debates, accusations of abandonment, and renewed scrutiny of the clergyman’s personal life.

In a press briefing issued through his legal representatives, Pastor Okafor categorically denied the paternity claim, describing it as false, defamatory, and a calculated attempt to malign his character and ministry.
“Our client does not acknowledge Miss Chi as his biological daughter and has consistently called for a DNA test to conclusively establish the truth,” the statement said.

According to the briefing, Pastor Okafor maintains that the paternity issue is not new. He disclosed that during the early years of his ministry, a woman claimed to be pregnant for him, a claim that led to marriage.

However, following a series of events including misconduct during a traumatic kidnapping incident, questions arose concerning the paternity of the children from the union. A DNA test was reportedly conducted at the time, with results allegedly confirming that the children were not biologically his.

The pastor insists that the DNA test results are in the possession of the children’s mother and has publicly challenged her to present the document. In the absence of the said report, he is now formally demanding that Miss Chi submit herself for a fresh DNA test at a mutually agreed and reputable medical facility.

The statement also criticised the role of VeryDarkMan, accusing him of publishing and promoting the allegations without seeking Pastor Okafor’s response.

The legal team described the action as cyber harassment, criminal defamation, and irresponsible use of social media influence, noting that a formal warning letter has already been issued to the activist.
Pastor Okafor acknowledged that he had supported the children’s education and welfare over the years, including assistance while they studied abroad. However, he stressed that such support was purely humanitarian and should not be misconstrued as an admission of paternity.

The pastor has now demanded, an Immediate retraction of all defamatory statements, Public apologies published in two national newspapers, Submission to a DNA test or presentation of existing DNA results and removal of all misleading online contents.
The statement warns that failure to comply will result in legal action to protect Pastor Okafor’s reputation and ministry.

Just last week, he had droves of supporters. Where are they? 🥱🥱
