My Redmi 10 has been switching on and off by itself and whenever it starts it'll just off before even finish displaying the mi logo and it'll restarts automatically. It can go on like that for like over an hour but what I discovered is that whenever it starts it's madness if I put in a charger it'll stop and it'll be working perfectly but after I remove the charger the max it could stay on is 45 mins.
I took it to an engineer to repair and he said the problem isn't battery, he said he'll heat the panel which he does but after 4 days it starts it's madness again.
Who have experienced this before? What is the solution?
pls how were u able to fix this?
Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by Pious101: 7:55am On Dec 26, 2025

Hi fams, Merry Christmas and Prosperous New Year in advance.
Sadly, my house was burgled a few days ago and valuables worth millions were carted away. Among the stolen items was my Xiaomi phone. I urgently need guidance on how to:
- Track the phone effectively (I guess through the Police though)
- Remove/disable the Mi Cloud so the Police can carry out their investigation
- Ensure the robber can use the phone after flashing it without Mi Cloud lock interfering
Your quick response and advice will be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Mine was from RN10 pro to Poco F6. Next should be Xiaomi 17 or 17 Pro (If it leaves China)

Now I understand what you want. In summary, you want to use the stolen phone as a bait to catch the thief right?
You cannot logout your mi account from the device remotely. Assuming lost mode was enabled and you didn't turn on screen lock (either by password or fingerprint), then your best bet would have been to just retrieve your sim(s) and allow the thief to use the phone. That way it would be easy to achieve what you want. But even at that, if anyone makes an attempt to flash the phone or even do a factory reset, the phone will be locked and will be difficult to track too.
