Sowore is a compulsive attention-seeker who always tries to inject himself into any breaking news story. Like an overgrown spoiled child, Sowore screams loud and throws his toys about any time he feels that REAL news events are taking attention away from his constant noise making.

The strikes focused majorly on the Lakurawa terrorist organization operating to both Sokoto, Kebbi and Zamfara. These guys kill Muslims mostly. If the strikes were about Christians, it should have targeted Fulani militias operating in the North Central.

As far as I am concerned, no strikes happened because the usa cannot strike itself

Trump Bombed Terrorists in Nigeria While Tinubu Watched Powerlessly - Sowore Alleges

Nigeria has been thrown into fresh controversy following claims by activist and former presidential candidate Omoyele Sowore that the United States carried out a military strike on Nigerian soil on Christmas Day without genuine authorization from Nigeria’s leadership.

In a strongly worded statement posted on his Facebook wall, Sowore reacted to announcements credited to Donald Trump and the U.S. Secretary of War, Pete Hegseth, claiming that American forces targeted Islamic State (ISIS) elements in northwest Nigeria.

According to Sowore, the operation — reportedly executed in a village in Sokoto — exposes what he described as Nigeria’s alarming loss of sovereignty under the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The perception of Sowore on this matter make no sense in all the circumstances. Terrorism in Nigeria is clearly beyond the capacity of the Nigerian government to handle. Daily, Nigerians are dying and the Nigerian economy haemorrhaging due to terror in Nigeria. It is public knowledge that Sowore has his family safely ensconced in the U.S.A. Sowore has nothing at stake in the matter and now appears to be a terrorist sympathiser!

We lost nothing. The strike was at the request of the Nigerian government. Both countries worked together to identify the targets while US conducted the strikes because of their superior air power. See the tweets from the US War secretary and US Africom

Yes, it is a precedent. One for the history books. The first since the civil war (since munitions from foreign platforms have struck Nigerian soil).

But it is a necessary precedent.
There are significant political cards on the deck but there is no real hand to be played here. We are talking about lives.
