So the comment by Netanyahu on Christmas eve 24th December about the Christian genocide in Nigeria wasn't a coincidence, he was aware of the impending strikes against Islamic terrorists in Nigeria the following day.

I can bet my left balls that the Nigerian government isn't aware of the D-Day, even though they know that it will happen. The US won't share such intelligence or else the government would inform their terrorists to relocate position.

You are correct in some way but truly, it cuts a sorry picture of Nigeria's leadership. How I wish that our President was the first to announce, after the strikes, that he had permitted the strikes, instead of Trump breaking the news.

Bola Tinubu has to be mindful of his years after leaving office, and thus he will refrain from making announcements that could incite the extremists who lurk within the Islamic religion. Sometimes silence from the head of state is the wisest option, and this is definitely one of those times.

In as much as this strike action was necessary, its a big shame on our government. We were very quick to intervene in the short lived coup in Benin Rep. , but find it hard to crush these Islamic extremist. Its like allowing an outsider to come and put your house in order, despite having all the capabilities to resolve ya internal crises. Its just a big shame. It also goes to show that our govt are just politicizing terrorism at the expense of Nigerian lives.
