Guy, you need to watch more footy. That's all I have to say to you.
Where do you expect him to put his hand? Do you know ball to hand at all!
Most of these people no sabi anything for football, there is no way that referee will award that as a penalty. There numerous types of these calls made in Top level football to chose from. Sometimes 2 or 3 times in a match, I was even surprised that the ref was told to check the screen

boss you win this arguement simply becos VAR said no penalty….you see what happened there, ajeh if it were to b Morocco looking for a winning goal, baba all this your rule ehnnn VAR will tell you another thing oo…that he wasn’t falling that he went for the ball🤣🤣
Well thats a different argument, I am not talking about Morroco. By the normal rule, that ball is clearly not a penalty all day long.

SA eliminated 11 man Egyptian team even when Egypt hosted it in 2019. Also eliminated Morocco last AFCON. Guess who stopped them on both Ocassions? The argument is not about how good SA is but about the disrespect to the Super Eagles!
BankyGee:
Like say you no watch the game.

Egypt's goalkeeper kept that scoreline intact. South Africa pressed and attacked the hell out of Egypt. No be PK the Egypt take win?

If una see truth make una talk am. No one here likes South Africa, including me, but facts are facts, they can fucking play ball.

Against 10 men Egypt? Are you sure you are aware that Egypt got a man sent off in the first half?

what we saw in that game can be argued by so many qualified/pro football parties…That call can aswell go well for SA in another occasion…but let me respect that VAR decision

These egyptians' only game plan was to play this haram ball. All that talk about 10 man was just a convenient excuse. The 11 man team would have played the same thing. The south africans for all their passing and running cannot force an outside shot to save their lives and i feel that made a difference in this game. And shout out to the egyptian goal keeper, he was invincible today.

I feel south africa should beat zimbabwe. Although this match will be tough considering zimbabwe will be playing for 2 reasons, bad belle and a chance at progression to the next stage. 4 points should be enough to propel zimbabwe either as best 3rd place or second place if they win with more than 2 goals and angola lose against egypt.

Even before the red card in the first half, South Africa weren't even doing badly. The second half was hell for the Egyptians. El-Shenawy is my Man of the Match. If the Super Eagles go one man down and we face this kind of pressure from South Africa, if we no lose maka know wetin cause am.

Even 11–11 we no fit withstand immense pressure, na 10–11 we wan come withstand. Egypt were just lucky, it's not even their defense that helped them, it was the GK, the defense did just 40% of the work.

No be one man down make us lose against Tunisia for 2021? Make we dey here dey allow banter dey cover facts. I'm not scared of South Africa whenever they want to play against us, but they are a fucking good team and every single one of their players are technically brilliant and gifted.

You are making a hypothetical not a factual statement. Which precedent are you basing your assumption that we would have collapsed with 10 men down? I am waiting.
OK let me take you down memory lane

AFCON 2022 Nigeria vs Tunisia in the knockout stage

We went one man down in the open half when Iwobi got sent off and literally capitulated, failing to play with any urgency or structure like a team that needed to make or break until the dying minutes when it was too late

Nigeria vs Zimbabwe wasn't too long ago, scored in the 77th or so minute only to concede in the 89th minute? WCQ

Almost lost a lead to a Lesotho team that had nothing to play in our laborious 2-1 win- WCQ

Need I mention more?

you can be in a falling position and your hand is naturally supporting the body. you can also be in a falling position and it does seem you did it intentionally to impede the ball by any chance. These things are case to case and bias still fit dey

Leave Flashscore and watch match. Egypt were the better team. When they scored they deserved the lead. If the 11 vs 11 continued they would have won comfortably.

Nothing concern me with this bolded argument. I no know who and who dey argue about Super Eagles and South Africa.

I was just talking to the persons that are saying there's nothing special about South Africa's ability to play ball – good football at that.

But Egypt were clearly better in the first half. they controlled the game and held possession better it seemed to me.
