I no gree for this one, in the past 10 or so years SA have leveled up and are now at our level if not slightly above (truth hurts), many of us were still stuck in the 90's and early 2000's until reality woke us up. Only part I agree with is us performing below our potentials
Level up how?

Even before the red card in the first half, South Africa weren't even doing badly. The second half was hell for the Egyptians. El-Shenawy is my Man of the Match. If the Super Eagles go one man down and we face this kind of pressure from South Africa, if we no lose maka know wetin cause am.

Even 11–11 we no fit withstand immense pressure, na 10–11 we wan come withstand. Egypt were just lucky, it's not even their defense that helped them, it was the GK, the defense did just 40% of the work.

No be one man down make us lose against Tunisia for 2021? Make we dey here dey allow banter dey cover facts. I'm not scared of South Africa whenever they want to play against us, but they are a fucking good team and every single one of their players are technically brilliant and gifted.
You dey whine??
Against DRC, wetin happen??

We could have still qualified without beating them home plus away, we dealt with ourselves with finidi's appointment

The Egyptian league is better than the South African league. It's the best in Africa.

Yeah but you de use PK knockout against Dr Congo to judge.
This is the second time today, you have turned logic on its head, first you said Egypt will pipe us, we brought the friendly were they won with a clear offside Narrowly against our reserve team, you said its just a friendly, now PK is nothing, but its something when DRC used it to win against us. 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Except I missed something how does NGA/TUN relate to this match?

We were the one losing before the red card
So what "collapse" are you talking about?
SymphonyRad:
OK let me take you down memory lane

AFCON 2022 Nigeria vs Tunisia in the knockout stage

We went one man down in the open half when Iwobi got sent off and literally capitulated, failing to play with any urgency or structure like a team that needed to make or break until the dying minutes when it was too late

Nigeria vs Zimbabwe wasn't too long ago, scored in the 77th or so minute only to concede in the 89th minute? WCQ

Almost lost a lead to a Lesotho team that had nothing to play in our laborious 2-1 win- WCQ

Need I mention more?

okay.. na bad administration go continue to kill us. Why do we find ourself oftentimes changing coaches? That is the big question. we are not even talking about our domestic league yet.

oga.. we fell flat after Osimhen could not continue. it is how we played they vex me pass. pk na pk las las

A team that become useless when just on player is absent, is a useless team. Even thouhg SA played most of their games at home during the qualifiers, it was Osimhen's absences that is the major reason why we did not qualify. Maybe if we had a solid coach from the start, one player's absence will not be an issue.

You need to read the news more, my friend! Everywhere is perfect except Nigeria!
Read more news about SA football administration, abeg!
Ordinary school boy error almost cost them the World Cup, if that was Nigeria I could not have imagine how hard you would have come for them but you are here praising the same SA Admin. lol

Sometimes we Nigerians need to take a break and think critically.
Most of our outburst are not neccessary!
Joebie:
you and I know we have not been doing our homework football admin wise. Let's have that convo if we are doing things right to show our full potential. I am not taking anything from them. Good administration and a nice blueprint has made them a force today. Not necessarily talents.

Against DRC we couldn't get a shot in the entirety of the second half + first half extra time, and we only had ONE shot in the 2ND HALF OF EXTRA TIME (Tolu's wayward header) and we conceded TWICE! Na God and VAR help us.

This 10 men Egypt were wayyyyyyyyy better than us that night, at least they didn't concede. We had 11 men with two legs each.

You denigrated the super Eagles for losing on penalties, but the match they won on penalties you said “its just penalties “ can you make up your mind? You are not consistent

And I'm the one sounding "wOkE"

If 2 shots from Egypt in the entire first half with only one on target (PK) is what you define as kill, all power belongs to you.
😂
But the so called 2nd half against DRC that super Eagles were admittedly rubbis.h, DRC only had 2 shots on target. And same una talk say they killed us

oga we lost because we couldn't play well after Osimhen could not continue. I have no doubt we would have won that game. why will i blame penalties for anything. Though I faulted Ekong not leading the team in the PKs. your argument is stale
