I even want us to lose or draw, so that we will be second. The path seem easier than if we finish on top
I think our path is generally tough. It will be difficult to avoid a quarter final of Senegal, Algeria or DR Congo

Kayode tell you say em wan play for us?
grin grin.
Thats the big question we fail to ask regarding these players. Yes they are eligible for us but do they really want to play for us?? I remember when even a starting shirt at the world cup for nigeria didn't move Tammy abraham. Just wished our eligible players came out from france. I feel Its more easier to cap high level players from france than england. Look at that senegal team stacked with players who could have played for france.

Last AFCON was really our biggest chance to lift the trophy again. All Winnable fixtures.

This one we might have to win both Algeria and Morocco to reach final. Or as Runner-up we meet Senegal. Anyways someone could be knocked out too.

Even with all the rubbish we played in the playoffs, DR Congo couldn't finish us off. Even the penalties, if it weren't for our wasteful and nervous takers, we should have won that shootout with the way Nwabali fought to keep us in the game. DR Congo played us with sweat and blood and almost lost to us. I don't fear them one bit.

Na that penalty make me hate Chelle. He just stood there like an ediot. Ekong wey be our taker and captain should've been brought on last minute. He go bring Awaziem. Semi Ajayi as last penalty taker how?

Dessers had already agreed to play for us, he was in the Dutch 2nd Division. Rohr told him if he wants an invite he should step up the first division. Dessers and Kayode no be the same situation.

Yeah, in the first half Egypt were better, but they weren't out playing SA, SA weren't poor too.

Quality will always show, who big pass you big pass you, but SA will play you clean football even if they'd go on to lose. I'm not even trying to say I wanted South Africa to win or anything. My argument is simple – that South Africa are a good team.
Baba, some people cannot see beyond their hate dislike for SA. lt's the reason I was given flak for listing them in my top 5 favourites to win the AFCON.

SA na very good team. In the last two years, we've met them thrice and have not been able to dominate, outplay or defeat them in regulation time. In the same vein, they defeated teams we could not in the WCQs.

Aside the results, SA plays very good footie. The way they set up, take up positions, knock the ball around, play with almost telepathic understanding is a joy to watch and is indicative of a well-coached and well-drilled side. Their loss to Egypt today doesn't change how I rate them.

SA's total output is far greater than the sum of their individual parts. The Super Eagles on the other hand, despite having higher individual quality produces less output in terms of quality of play.

Me, I'll be glad to see our team play the way SA does because if we can raise our game play to that level then forget we go win this AFCON.

Do you know if these were the best penalty takers during the practice? Make Chelle enter field take penalty for them? Even the best players miss penalties in high pressure situations.

with all that's happening in Nigeria in the 3 months this is what you are sayinghuh

it was always about sabotaging the Super Eagles..

all these years Nigeria did not go after zerrorists.

then suddenly after zrump threatens to invade Nigeria then Nigeria starts getting tough on zerrorists..

S.E has been playing 2 man midfield since Eguavon was the coach so if the S.E wants to be un-beatable then both the players and NFF know what to do but they intentionally not going to do it.

Why should my team aspire to play like a team that has not outplayed nor defeat its in four outings in 6 years? Why should my team with a silver and bronze in the last 3 AFCONS play like a team with just a bronze. Why should my team play like I team I dominated over two legs in our last two meetings? How na?The only team it defeated that I did not defeat is Zimbabwe. Remember, SA played 80% of it matches at home with almost same players throughout the qualifiers while we started with dem Awoniyi, Boniface, Iheanacho, Aribo dem!! I assume you should know this asper your position here! Sometimes your write up disappoints me. lol!

Morocco have gone:

1. 19 games winning streak (no loss)
2. 54 goals scored in 19 games
3. 4 goals conceded
4. Bono has gone 900 minutes without conceding

This stat is staggering. shocked shocked
